Trip Report Title TBD

It’s hard to come up with a title ahead of time when you’re not going for any specific reason. I’ll figure out something eventually though…..

We hadn’t even left Pittsburgh & this was already starting.

We’ve arrived!!

Then came the wind, thunder, lightning & rain.

DS became a ghost town & we got drenched going to the bus stop.

We made it on the bus. Thank goodness!! It got awfully dark outside all of a sudden!!

We have never been to Nomad Lounge because the wait time always seems so long! I bet the pool time at Boardwalk felt so great after the hot day at AK today! Sorry it rained on you at DS but your dinner at Boathouse looked fabulous!

I was grateful that the walkway from the bus stop is under cover all the way to the lobby.
Then I saw this…

I am petrified of mice. You know how they say “they’re more afraid of you than you are of them?” Not this time. He would not vacate the premises. So, what did I do?

Jumped up on the side wall that’s about 2 feet off the ground. You know how parents are normally telling their kids not to climb on it? Yeah, that was me climbing up there. A gentleman, obviously recognizing my fear, helped me down when we thought the coast was clear & tried to scare him away so he wouldn’t run by me. Ugh, I think I’m scarred for life.

And, in my eyes, he was huge for a mouse!!

The rain, thunder & lightning continued

Then J noticed this beautiful rainbow!!

We’re back to rain, thunder & lightning now though!! We’re just relaxing the rest of the evening!!

@riverside , I’m thinking that wasn’t a mouse but maybe a friend of Remy instead. It looks pretty big in the pictures to be a Mickey/Minnie. Either way I would have yelled and jumped away too.

YUP, that's a rat! I see the traps around the Beach Club bushes so I'm sure they have them all around the resorts.

I haven't seen the traps, but I have heard some reports of others seeing them and the little creatures.
Not to derail the thread but when I was in Disneyland Paris we were in a restaurant and next to us on the floor was a good sized mouse/rat trap. I kind of lost my appetite after that.

Yet, here I was heading to HS early this morning.

To meet these special friends!!

It’s always great to spend time with them catching up & having some fun together!!

Glad Em didn’t have to ride alone!! @TrolleyFollower91 didn’t the same thing happen with us 3 on RNRC before??

As always, it was so much fun spending time with wonderful friends!!

I headed to Epcot via the Friendship Boat. R was just leaving The Boardwalk bc he had been working so I met him at the International Gateway. The rest of the crew had already got to Epcot earlier.

R & I stopped at The Regal Eagle & split a meal.

The brisket was good-just a little fatty though.

Sorry R, no Rick Springfield this trip!!

Our friend S arrived this morning!! We were in the store in Japan trying to convince J as to why he didn’t need this 50.00 stuffed Mariokart thing!!

We walked to Italy & caught Sergio’s show. Look who he picked to be part of the act again!!

We headed to Mexico to see Donald & the gang.

Not sure how R’s face turned out so blurry-& he wasn’t sleeping!!

We stopped in La Cava del Tequila for a Pepe’s Special!!

We headed towards the front to ride SSE. We caught some entertainment along the way.

Of course, we had to stop in Club Cool. R, who actually likes Beverly, was trying to convince this young lady how good it is.

Time for our journey through time.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Epcot without a visit here!!

Guardians was down all day & we had LL’s for it. @Tuvalu told me to make sure I got a refund for them. I did that on the way out.

We walked to Cape May for our dinner reservation. It looks like this is the only picture I took. Everything was very good & we all enjoyed it!!

We walked through The Yacht Club on the way back. Am I right, is this new carpet?

We’ve been hanging out at the resort since. The pool has been closed due to lightning & thunder so that’s out again. And there is quite a bit of it. Rain isn’t due for another hour though.

I love that J got picked by Sergio again! R is definitely getting his daily naps in for this trip! Your meal at Cape May looks delicious. We've never eaten there but will have to give it a try in January when we're at the Beach Club resort!

It’s been a pretty low key day. I think the heat is really catching up to us.

We still managed to get our favorite table though!!

Lunch was next door at Sci-Fi. R’s pick.

Probably bc it’s so quiet in there so he could nap!!

The Frozen show was getting ready to start so we watched that.

Then we got in line for the Villans show.
Doesn’t this bring back memories?

The show was really good!!

J wanted to go swimming so we left. But, it wasn’t looking good.

It rained slightly then stopped so to the pool we went.

Glad you were able to snag your favorite table at Baseline even without rope dropping! That's hysterical that R fell asleep in the car at Sci-Fi! I'm sure the pool was a welcome sight each day with the afternoon heat!
