Until I looked closer, I was very confused why the pianist was wearing a poppy. Wrong season.

Moving an entertainment offering themed to a pub to free up more barstools isn’t a good sign. If you don’t understand that, I can’t help you
It hasn’t been at the front of the pub by the bar for some years - it was moved to the back by some tables and is not particularly popular mainly because few know the piano player is there. Putting them in Odyssey is an improvement over the current situation

Isn't the Rose and Crown pub basically closed at the moment?

its only open at night now I think, not even sure they have a dinner menu as such anymore, shame.

Pub side is still open all afternoon and evening for drinking. Dining room is just dinner and a smaller menu than they used to have, but aren’t all the WS menus smaller than they used to be…

Yeah, that backdrop and flowers are screaming October.
I was a trite confuddled about why a non-Brit would be wearing a poppy out of season (it's not till October in the Commonwealth), figured it was someone in costuming who got confused - until I looked closer and realized I had no idea what that actually was!

I am in favor of live music, in any location, any time, on principle! However, to have a musician in one pavilion... themed to a different pavilion?

Unless they try to set this up as a "sneak preview" or "what's happening around the showcase" sort of rotation, it's a FAIL in my eyes.

Plus, I know phone microphones (and speakers) can be misleading, but that piano (and the playing) sounds very bright, brash, and harsh. I guess they don't want people parked under the AC too long. Chase 'em outta there!

Of course, the AC pretty much sucks everywhere in the parks anyway.

The piano is a keyboard (and a pretty cheap one too!) and always has been. As far as the theming, point well made - but it's been a sing-along catch-all for some years now, not just British songs! Sweet Caroline has been in the mix many a time

Ah, gotcha. Maybe they could spring for a new costume, then? And, as others have said, that autumnal glow is quite odd.
