What if they all teamed up to defeat Chernabog instead?

Or Iger?
The only acceptable answer. Chernabog, not Iger.

Alternatively, I guess I could accept The Blot but that's probably too meta or obscure. Judge Doom in the same vein. But that's not the direction they're taking it. A team up to fight Chernabog would be the best case scenario if we're to root for the Villains, so to speak.

Excuse me but the only clear choice here is Professor Ratigan!

Maybe it starts out with them trying to release Chernabog but then they realize they can't control him so have to defeat him/send him back

Something like that where their plan goes wrong

Could someone skilled at searching FDEP records find what this permit for trailers/a parking lot is referring to:

Is it a paved lot or gravel?

See, it is close to what the following referred to as Villains Land -- that could just mean that is where the HQ for construction would be:

The dirt road through the new parking lot was considered Maple Rd:

I'm having fun with the concept art and chat gpt, but I doubt we will get anything much scarier than TOT especially in MK
Which honestly renders the whole Villains in MK concept DOA. If they aren't scary, they're not Villains. Sigh. I hope they can make it work, but I'm pretty sour on the whole idea. Here's hoping they deliver.

This whole derpy replacement vs addition conversation has always been full and pointless. Big new ride coming to the parks and people call it a replacement because they took out a few flower pots.
They rarely do actually additions, though. Villains land is one of the few to happen in Florida. DCA has the two Avengers attractions which are an actual expansion, followed by Coco.

And there are a lot of levels. Monsters to the Rescue being turned into Avatar at DCA is one ride for another, but to say its a 1:1 replacement isn't accurate. Capacity will almost certainly be higher on the new attraction, not to mention any other things added (food, shops).

The new Villains show is replacing another show, so thats 1:1.

TSI and RoA is tricky, because obviously the two Cars attractions are going to be more visited by guests than the soon to be closed attractions, but there is certainly a factor that those two attractions have a lot of intangibles that straight up numbers can't give you.

Rarely? What about Tron and Remy?

The sad thing is there are a ton of places to do actual expansions in WDW that would increase capacity without needing to remove anything. The Stitch space, WoL, the AL expansion pad rumored for Moana, putting TLK in Africa, expansion pad in Pandora, the large space north of Asia, the majority of WS pavilions, the footprint of the (non-Launch Bay) Animation bldg and backstage stuff there.

If WDI, TDO, and the pencil pushers cared about expanding WDW and making it a more pleasant experience for all guests they could do it. But they are obsessed with lowering operational costs for whatever reason.

I don’t mean to be rude to anyone but I find it strange that so many people have this take about a family theme park. Especially when Epic just opened up down the road with something more in line with what you are wanting.
