I do not get the appeal of paying for a park ticket, just to then pay for over priced alcohol in a bar. If this existed outside the park (like at the Boardwalk) then fine that makes sense, but I have no interest in paying super high prices for a coctail at 2pm on a park day.

For us eating and drinking is a big part of vacation - be it in a park or out and when there for 12 hours or whatever a break in A/C with a nice beverage is welcome

Though I will say I was surprised how many people I saw at an Epcot After Hours event that went straight to the Rose and Crown and spent a good chunk of time there - for a limited times event that seemed not the best use of time

Yeah, I get why this particular offering wouldn't be appealing to a lot of people, though it makes sense to me for those who treat a visit to WDW more as a vacation than a commando mission to see every attraction. Obviously, it also depends on whether cocktails and/or drinking are at all appealing to you.

Disney have been doing their best to make it difficult to have this kind of vacation at WDW, but I like being able to take some time between all the walking and waiting for attractions to have a drink or something to eat and a conversation. It is a nice way to recharge, enjoy the surroundings, and not come back to the room every night feeling drained. It's the sort of thing that is always nice to do when you're on vacation somewhere, be it WDW or somewhere like Paris or Madrid. A quiet space like this in the midst of the expanse and crowds of Epcot seems appealing in that respect.

And this new space is then not meant for you, and you can basically go about your day without even knowing it exists.

I too would not, due to the price. But I do love a nice cocktail in a park.

The good thing is, you don't have to get it. Different people enjoy different things.

Screen grab from a video of Luminous from GEO-82

Honestly, seems a good view of the actual fireworks but feel like can't see much of the structure/fountains

The entry looks much better than the interior. Maybe it's because we have those exact same light fixtures in my apartment lobby here downtown. It's fine. I'm just not excited for this at all, and this should be... As it conceptually mixes craft cocktails, themed environments and Epcot. Some of my favorite things. But, it just misses the mark for me. Maybe a one and done someday in the distant future.

It just looks so sterile and soulless. Maybe it'll be better in person but it reminds me of a bar I used to frequent in my younger days here in Nashville. I thought Space 220's interior looked bad in initial previews but when I saw it in person I thought it was actually fairly well done, maybe that's the case with this.

Space 220 is unique and a lot of fun.

Video reviews I have seen, including from Touring Plans, focus on the attention to detail and back story - and stress asking questions about things. Basically said if you are a fan of the history of Epcot you will love it. Obviously your milage may vary but seems like better in person and even video than still photos
