No, that’s not how it would work.It would be. You just attach the "Super Nintendo World" prefix to it, same way the three Harry Potter lands are all "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter."

Funny, Universal disagrees. No, that’s not how it would work.
We’ll see.Funny, Universal disagrees.
I mean, it’s a layup to create their own version of a castle park/land. Thoigh maybe they don’t want to invite that comparison. The world of Zelda/Hyrule/whatever is rich enough to have its own portal, not a mini portal like Donkey Kong Country. So many recurring locations and themes throughout the games -
Hyrule Castle
Hyrule Castle Town
Kakariko Village
Goron City
Zora's Domain
Rito Village
Lost Woods / enchanted woods of some form
... to name a few.
and then you have the recurring temple themes like forest temple, water temple, ice temple, etc.
Yes, you do see a lot of locations in the Donkey Kong Country games, but only a few themes and visuals are iconic, and they basically covered most of it with what they did - jungle and temples.
Seriously, there's SO much they could do with Zelda. So much that it would be kind of hard to narrow down what to create.
That could be years…Side note... I wish google earth would update
Would be kind of like having:It is just a little disconnected to me that Zelda would then not be a part of SNW.
Yup, Dark Universe officially added to early admission late last week I believe. However it sounds like its really still anyone’s guess which portals/rides will actually open early, or on time each day. I feel like I need 4 game plans for our visit next week just to be safe. Also did I miss the announcement that Dark Universe is also open for Early Park admission?

That coaster in Hollywood on the hillside looks like a lot of funFor those worried about IoA's attendance: Zelda makes the most sense.
For those worried about USFs attendance: F&F coaster replacing RRR, Ghostbusters replacing F&F, and Pokemon replacing Simpsons.
For a great new world: Wicked / Oz is a slam dunk at Epic.
They seem pretty intent on keeping F&F in the parks in some capacity, and a "bare support" coaster is the perfect ride system for it (outside a slot car style ride). Leave the dark rides/special effects for Ghostbusters and other IPs that deserve it.That coaster in Hollywood on the hillside looks like a lot of fun
But for gods sake…they should dump the fast and furious stupidity
Why build rides something so played out?
Fast and the furious is the dumbest thing since unsliced breadThey seem pretty intent on keeping F&F in the parks in some capacity, and a "bare support" coaster is the perfect ride system for it (outside a slot car style ride). I'm not a fan either, but a fast roller coaster is an obvious IP tie-in WIN. The real dumbest thing was designing an attraction with the name FAST and FURIOUS and not have the vehicle actually go fast (barely move)? I can't believe they signed off on it.Fast and the furious is the dumbest thing since unsliced bread

I agree. Some properties are just not meant for a theme park. There is no whimsy. No magic. Just testosterone and cars.
I always feel like successful theme park experiences need some sort of fantastical element to them. Dinosaurs, Mummies, Magic, Cartoons … where the limits of our world don’t exist, etc.
Even if it’s “heightened reality” it worksI agree. Some properties are just not meant for a theme park. There is no whimsy. No magic. Just testosterone and cars.

What is that? Just really stupid catering to the lowest common denominator in the depths of the brain![]()
