Its a pity that the Meet the Robinsons boat has already sailed. Using that franchise for a tomorrowland revamp would have been pretty awesome. Maybe a stitch Galactic Federation would work. They could convert the stitch waiting area into a meet and greet for a couple stitch characters.
Indeed. Every time they update anything in a way that doesn't involve a lot of big colourful props or Mickey & Co., people seem to complain about de-theming. Sometimes, though, less is more and a big red spaceship, for example, is less appropriately themed than a sleeker structure.
The DVC kiosk was the ticket booth not the Coolship. And there are other ticket kiosks that still remain.

Did they disassemble the interior of stitch? I know it wasn’t the best attraction, but it would totally make sense to just flip the switch and turn it back on right now if they can.
I’m pretty sure the attraction has been gutted entirely. The stitch animatronic was all but destroyed.
Just one more instance of Stitch giving me Gremlins.
Did he never ride the Backlot Tour? There were lots of movie props enduring the Florida weather in that attraction...
There was a permit right around the pandemic closure for demolition. I know the queue is still there because they had a photo op there one christmas party. Really a coin toss whether its a operations dump area with attraction elements, or an operations dump area without.

I don't think a meet and greet could possibly save Tomorrowland...even a good meet and greet. Tomorrowland really needs a grand vision to bring all of it's parts together like they did with the last revision...but fell a little short. It was mostly all there though... The next revision should touch every attraction as part of the storytelling...no Monsters and toy story and stitch and tron...but something that all works together to create a truly compelling and immersive land....to show what Disney can actually do instead of making a larger more incoherent mess like they are getting ready to do with Frontierland....

I can think of only one thing that would potentially work but it would involve something so insane that disney would definitely ignore it. Bringing the dream concepts of Horizons to Tomorrow Land. Horizons presented a wild vision of the future that could potentially still be considered. The people mover would not just be a showcase of the area but also a view into what its like to live in the future. The Carousel of progress is now a historical look into the distant past. Buzz Lightyear is a futuristic arcade which in truth is not far off. Space Mountain could get a mild overhaul to give it an actual story connected to the future. The only one that does not make sense is monsters inc laugh floor. I still believe disney needs to abandon that ride and turn it into something cool. Its space is so wasted and yet some how it brings in dozens of people every day only for them to realize after a while they been had. hehe Hopefully if the new ride at hollywood is successful they will finally put in something else. If you study horizons they left it very open ended for some pretty far out things to be imported to tomorrow land. The only problem is disney loves its IPs so the odds of them taking Horizons and bringing it to Magic Kingdom is crazy.
