Oh I'm sure they have concepts of what will go there, they just don't know what property they want yet.
Again, that’s not how it works. Programming, the process of choosing what you are going to have in terms of ride, retail, dining and how much, is part of the design process. It’s not something worked out well in advance with an IP just slotted in later. It’s based on the park as it exists at the moment decisions are being made because projects that are being built will influence those decisions based on how they actually open and perform.

I wasn't saying that. All I was saying is they have a general idea of the direction they want to go in that area.

They don’t. Programming is the start of that general idea. Even when something gets drawn in on a master plans, it’s not an actual consideration. There was never a real thought of building Expedition Everest at Shanghai Disneyland even though it’s in the master plan.

Well according to insiders on here plans are actively being drawn up for something.

If it actually gets further in the design process that’s another question.

There’s an entire Blue Sky team within Walt Disney Imagineering that just comes up with stuff. That’s not really “plans”.

Might be differing views of what constitutes a "plan" ... I am sure there are several ideas for the area (blueskyish, maybe a little more developed) with some high level concept art ... But not exact plans or blueprints or anything. I am sure they are thinking about what *could* go there at least

My biggest worry about this project is that the new entrance will be too bright and colorful, like the tie-dye on the teaser image they shared. This will detract from the immaculate, vaunted approach to Tower of Terror. They used to care about these things, e.g., Splash Mountain blending with Big Thunder's rock work colors, the original RnRC entrance being set back and muted to avoid competing with ToT's approach... but now... ?

To me the juxtaposition between Tower Of Terror and RNRC right next to each other was always kind of jarring and also kind of stupid because it keeps the majority of thrill seeking guests in one area rather than encouraging them to explore the rest of the park.
I always called it the Thrill Corner..

I don't think they will..The poster is as colorful as can be...If anything they can add a lighting package in the plaza to hype it up during the night...

A long time ago on here, I think someone mentioned that RNRC was put in its location by TOT because of the power infrastructure in the area. I could be making that up...

Hopefully they also fix the queue problem that has been there since the dawn of FastPass (using the plain overflow queue space for standby, rather than the intended queue space).

Sorry for being confused, but… you don’t think they will what? Make the sign too colorful, or keep the sign sufficiently muted?
