I’m taking a page from @Tuvalu 's playbook and combining our 2025 adventures together. Perhaps I’ll even keep it (mostly) updated?? Lol

Thank you all in advance for joining along on our adventures! I have so much fun sharing with all of you! ♥️

Let the festival fun begin…

When we left The Land pavilion, I got a return time for GoG. It was so awesome not to have to worry about VQ’s. It was also nice to see throughout the day, whenever I was checking, the standby line never really went up above 60 minutes, which for that type of ride seemed OK.

In the meantime, we went to Communicore Hall. After the beautiful display at Festival of the Arts, I had very high hopes for F&G.

Unfortunately, my hopes deflated when we got there and saw what they had done. Again, it’s just my opinion, but they could’ve done so much more in the space. It had more tables and chairs. It was more like a counter service restaurant that they prettied up with flowers and one display of Spike in the middle.

I like that they put the history of flower and garden festival and the information about the topiary, but it could’ve been done on so much more of a grand scale. I don’t know why they’re not taking advantage of the space that they built for this purpose. Rant over. Lol

We had some time before our return time so we checked out the Creation Shop. Hope was looking for a pair of Crocs in the style of Mike W. My family just can’t seem to escape Crocs drama. Unfortunately, they did not have them. We did manage to pick up the festival scavenger hunt. Usually, I’ll take the prize as soon as we buy it, but since it was a larger item, I figured we could pick it up on our way out.

As we walked over to GoG, we were still a few minutes early for our return time, but we’re happy to walk into Star Lord himself greeting guest. He was just roaming about and didn’t really have a line. Hope was happy to speak with him a few minutes and show him some of her dance moves, which he was very impressed! Of course, I’m sure he was happy when she called him Chris Pratt. Lol

We were all excited to ride and the line moved more quickly than it had in the past. Soon, we were off to save the galaxy…

First thing we hit up or sticky ribs, which were OK a little chewy and they needed a little more barbecue sauce on them, but they were good.

Mexico is next which is one of my favorite booths and did not disappoint today either.

How can you go to Mexico without saying hello to Donald? Hope was happy to ride the grand fiesta tourist since it’s refurbishment. Honestly, I noticed no difference. It’s cute. I had never seen it have a line. It was not a long wait because it moved really quickly, but the line did queue up and they had to switch back Into the gift shop area.

We continued onto China…

And then went back to Norway to ride Frozen

IMG_2144.JPG

Now, Ross is always complaining that I’m always taking pictures, but in this case it helped. Because as I snapped this picture of Hope, I noticed something. Can you tell what’s missing? Look at this picture do you see it now?

As we were exiting Frozen, Hope realized she no longer had her backpack. I went back in my pictures and saw the timestamp so I could tell exactly where we were and there was a 10 minute difference between when she had it and when she didn’t. I figured she had left it where we were eating the sticky ribs. However, she was insisting that she left it in China so we asked some cast members there, and that’s when I realized that the China cast members do not speak English very well and some not at all!

We found a blue umbrella. It had not been turned in, so the CM encouraged us to do the lost item form. I did that while Ross took off in search of it. He told us to enjoy the day. I disagreed here. Hope’s concern should’ve been to look for the backpack, but Daddy‘s concern was to make sure his girls have a good time no matter what. I texted him a picture of her backpack and with that, the girls and I went one way and he went the other. There wasn’t a lot of joy walking around WS for me… one because he was off searching alone, and 2, I thought Hope should’ve been searching for her backpack, and not flowers from Spike. At least I wasn’t too worried if it wasn’t found. The only thing of importance in the backpack that I cared about was her Invisalign’s and case they were in. Worst case scenario, I had her next set of Invisaligns back at the hotel. She would just have to wear them a little longer.

Luckily, about 20 minutes after Ross left us, he texted me a picture of her backpack. I knew he had found it. Someone turned it in to a cast member near the sticky ribs booth. As soon as he showed the CM the picture of it, he said yes, we have it. Crisis averted!

Ross rejoined us in America, where Julia got some banana bread since we passed by the pretzel bread in Germany.

And then we continued our search with spike and more treats...

We rode Remy...

Ross and Hope enjoyed crepes while I just enjoyed sitting and resting my very sore hip and leg.

Julia said she was going to get something somewhere else. I thought she was going to get ice cream around the corner, but instead she had gone all the way back to Japan to get some Matcha and Taiyaki. I texted her to take her time just meet us near the UK and we continued on.

We had to say hi to Winnie the Pooh and friends. They were adorable!

Steakhouse 71 has become a favorite of ours! I think I would pick breakfast over dinner, but I am a breakfast person. We never tried it when it was The Wave. Wasn't it also an arcade at one time? Or am I confusing it with something else?
Back in the day, it was the arcade fun center for the Contemporary hotel with all the restaurants on the 4th floor and 15th floor.

We stopped in Canada, where Ross and Hope each got themselves a beef dish.

IMG_2100.JPG

Now this was odd. When they handed me the dishes, one had three pieces of beef in it and the other only had one little chunk of beef.

IMG_2103.JPG

Where is the beef? So I turned to the cast member and asked if I could get one that has more beef like this other one? She looked at it and rolled her eyes, not at me, more at whoever was doing the serving. She right away, handed me another dish and told me to keep that one also. She also apologized. I told her absolutely no worries and thanked her.

Ross took Hope over to near Imagination pavilion to find her last flower for the scavenger hunt. Well, Julia and I acquired some violet lemonade and pineapple Dole Whip for us.

They rejoined us and we enjoyed our last frozen treat of the night before heading out of Epcot. We did stop at the gift shop to pick up the prize for the scavenger hunt. Hope chose the Orange bird watering can.

We made our way out of Epcot around 8 o’clock walked over to beach club, and waited for a bus to Disney Springs.

Thanks! That's what I thought. It must have been a pretty big arcade!

It was a very large arcade space which also included tables and a quick service counter (burgers, chicken tenders, fries.) My kids loved that arcade and we went there often even when we were not CR guests.

Our first experience with Disney paramedics occurred there when Em was 4 years old as we waited in the food line. A woman accidentally hit Em in the eye with the corner of her food tray. Brave little Em fought back silent tears as the woman profusely apologized.

Swelling and bruising appeared immediately and the paramedics arrived to check Em out. There was no laceration or anything more serious than a bad shiner. After a week of swimming in the resort’s saltwater pool her injury was barely noticeable.

We got our food for free.
