Floats look great and the music (while still nowhere near as good as Spectromagic) sounds very pleasant and appropriate. The weakest link is going to be the small quantity of floats, and i'm dreading in advance how many will eventually be subtracted from the roster after a few years. Festival of Fantasy, another parade that was also short even when it was new, is now missing several I believe.

Are there any rumors about whether it's going to have some smaller minor floats? Like the balls and fish from Spectro, or the snails from MSEP? They even brought some of those MSEP floats up during one of the videos explaining their inspiration. Even PtN had a few kinda like those, so one would think this would too...

Even a snippet of Starlight's score made me regain that peaceful and relaxing MK atmosphere that's been notably absent from the park for over a decade now. Sure Happily Ever After is decent but I always felt like something was missing until this evening.
I’ll always long to see Spectromagic again but most of all I missed the atmosphere. This music is so similar in the way the music coming off the floats is going to go right thru the audience and shake the ground and my god I have missed that so much.

I'm still bummed about the lack of Classic Disney Characters that aren't from the Disney Renaissance period, associated with the "Disney Princess" brand, or post-Tangled. What I loved about Spectromagic (made in 1991) is the parade gave love to not only of Disney's Animated Films. But also to Disney characters from their animated shorts. The Silly Symphony float featured the Golden Harp from Fun and Fancy Free (made in 1947).

Meanwhile, Spectromagic's finale was lead by Fifer, Fiddler, and Practical Pig (including the Big Bad Wolf) from Disney's Silly Symphony that predated Disney's Animated Films.

Remember when The Three Little Pig alongside Big Bad Wolf used to be common meetable characters before getting demoted to being Rare Characters since the 2000s?

Nowadays, Disney rarely gives Disney Characters from the animated shorts/older films a proper representation at the U.S. Disney Parks (especially as walkaround characters). Except for special occasions like merchandise. I'm still waiting for Elmer Elephant and Tillie Tiger to get some love.
