Do you think it’s a step up from Lightning McQueen ?

Objectively, yes. The stage is cutting-edge, and very impressive visually. The performers are very talented too, and the costumes are stunning.

Subjectively, I'd pick Racing Academy in a heartbeat because I loved the McQueen Animatronic and I thought the show was very simple, but fun.

I think the space by its very nature of being flex would allow for MuppetVision. Not saying it will happen, but it could be done.

I'd be shocked if it comes back. My thought process is that if Disney continues to use Sunset Showcase as a flex space, it allows them to advertise a new offering every few years. They will want capacity balanced throughout the park, especially with The Muppets taking over Rock 'N next door. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm a member of Actors Equity and, according to the original breakdown in our portal, the show/actors are currently contracted to run about a year. Not sure if it will continue beyond that, but it will be around for a bit.

Will it's run be temporary like Kite Tails or Frozen Sing-Along?

I'm guessing it will be around for a few years. I still think the show is a testing ground on what to do with these Villians at MK.

Would it not be possible to seek actors that can perform as double duty characters? The Cruella de Vil performer also portraying the Queen of Hearts in a different production during the day or Captain Hook doing double duty as Jafar? For this show to have legs I see only a rotational roster of characters being it's saving grace. Kind of shocked they're seeking new talent and the same trio. But it's early days still.

Yep, but I can see any other embedded links.

This plays better in person than it appears on video. There is some depth to the staging with the layered video displays that is quite effective. This is lost on 2D video recording. It still needs another 6 performers though.
