MK All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

For the Magic after dark event I wasn’t really expecting a date to be given but maybe more details or a behind the scenes look?

The promo for the event says "Our hosts will also take a peek at what’s to come, as they give fans an exclusive look at new shows bringing the night to life this summer at Disneyland and Walt Disney World!"

So to me it would be footage of the parade - maybe get to see some of the floats in isolation for Starlight or something like that

More a "look" at them vs "information about their debut timeline"

I still hear July as the goal but there are things they can’t know until they actually get all these floats going down Main Street with performers. And they aren’t there yet.

Going to be there Aug 6th - was feeling like it would be around by then no issue but starting to feel less confident.

Obviously they have to do what they have to do and want them to get it right but would be a disappointment to see it debut when it will only be running some nights due to parties going on

The new rides are perfectly built. They can handle any situation... except railroad tracks. So, we're good to go!!

What is “Disney Starlight” about?

“Disney Starlight” transports guests into the stories of our beloved Disney characters. Through the power of the Blue Fairy’s magic, you’ll watch dreams and wishes come true. As the lights dance from float to float, you’ll see favorite classic and contemporary characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Pixar films, some for the very first time in a Disney Live Entertainment nighttime parade!

Brought to life by the creative hands and hearts at Disney Live Entertainment, “Disney Starlight” is the perfect continuation of our legacy of nighttime parades, with bits of nostalgia sprinkled throughout a dazzling procession that raises the bar for the future.

This idea holds true for every part of this parade, not only in the float design, but in the music, choreography, and more. With several members of the creative team having worked on fan-favorites such as “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “SpectroMagic,” you will see the inspiration from ever-iconic electrical parades of years past. “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” recalls the nostalgia of nighttime spectaculars with innovation lighting the way for a magical experience like never before.

What Characters Can We See in “Disney Starlight?”

From the moment the Blue Fairy’s magic wand lights up the night, dreams will come to life with an enchanting order of floats with these fantastic friends:

The Blue Fairy
Peter Pan & Wendy
Asha
La Familia Madrigal (Mirabel, Isabella, Bruno)
Elsa
Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming
Miguel and Pepita
Moana

There’s still more to come to this magical list, but this is the order you can look for soon!

When is “Disney Starlight” Coming to Magic Kingdom?

It won’t be long before the music swells and the twinkling lights flicker, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more!

Thanks as always DCBaker!

Well, it's an Update....and on Memorial Weekend so that's good! 😀

Still no new Art or a Date.......not even a quiet Date like when HEA moved on July 6th with no Fanfare.

I wish we were at the Calendar Phase, Sigh.

SPECTRO MAGIC MENTIONED. Okay, besides the fact that they mentioned SpectroMagic, this was the most useless update ever. Why did they even release this article if they weren't going to put a date in it? What purpose does this serve? To remind us that they're still working on it?

What purpose does it serve? Other than to pander to older fans who remember quality parades...

I think it’s exactly this as a lot of people are really looking forward to this.

It’s the first Nighttime parade in a long time so why not keep up the anticipation.

There are tens of people around here anticipating this. Outside of Disney fan forums, no one knows or cares. And if Disney park fans are "insignificant" when it comes to things like the outcries with Splash Mountain, UoE, and GMR closing, why are they suddenly the barometer for anticipation for this parade? Seems just a bit disingenuous.
