I HAD just eaten dinner when I tried the pants on. I had a couple other pairs of pants, but this one is the one that is most flattering and we were supposed to wear what we planned to wear for a possible upcoming performance to choir that night. I waited until after dinner to change so I wouldn't spill on the nice white pants. But then theses pants wouldn't fit. And I HAD been feeling very bloated for a few days. Dh Has been sick, so he hasn't been eating with us and E and I have been eating very vegetable rich and low carb meals, some with little chicken, some vegetarian. But we were both feeling bloated because of the kinds of veggies.... Brussels sprouts, taugé (I can't remember the English word), cabbage, leek, etc. So maybe that's why. And I HAVE been stressed. I still haven't found a job, and my in-laws aren't doing well. And I'm definitely dealing with perimenopause. Hopefully it's all those combined and I'll be back on track soon.
I didn't get out yesterday because I was baking the whole day for E's birthday today. She decorated it herself when she got home. We'll, I helped with making the frosting and mixing colors and such. But she did the actual piping and such.

As for the train, yes, it's really awful, especially how often it seems to happen there in that spot. I feel so bad for the train drivers. E said they had JUST passed Wolfheze and then suddenly they were braking HARD for no reason. Then she heard/felt the impact. She said the sound was awful. She was really cold the whole evening and it was pretty warm that day, so I think there was a little bit of shock, but she had no appetite and had to force herself to eat because she felt kind of nauseated. I can't imagine what it's like for the person who was driving the train.
