I see talk if music performers at the American Gardens theater - one comment said Zach Brown Band, someone else said Pitbull
Assume if this corporate takeover can afford acts like that they can afford some pyro too

Zach Brown Band is doing two shows in the America Garden Theater ... 8:15 and 9:45pm. It's the 2025 SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando. Their event page references attractions, food, and the concert but doesn't specifically mention fireworks.
That's an upcharge. If you're already paying mid-six figures to rent the park for the evening, you have to cut costs somewhere...

Last year was Maroon 5 at Hollywood Studios for the conference. I was there. Unfortunately didn’t attend this year’s SAP conference.

Hi all - was there last night. About 6:30 or 7:00 there were quite a few cast members on the bridge directing us around. Looked like they were having issues. Wouldn’t be surprised if they couldn’t get the barges out due to bridge issues.

Barges were not in the lagoon yesterday.
So if Epcot couldn't get the Bridge open all day, why wait till 8:10 to Cancel Luminous? Surely Epcot needs more than just an hour to setup Lum....

Ok, that’s where I got a bit confused, the show can get canceled if the barges can’t get out or can’t get back in I’d imagine. I thought they were stranded in the lagoon.

I’m not sure how long it takes but I’m guessing around 1 hour. I’ve seen shows delayed as well so even if it’s 90 minutes up until 8:00 they could have probably made it happen.
If at 8:00 someone made the call…. It would probably take about 10 minutes for that communication to get out.
The fact that this so notable shows just how good Disney is at really complex logistics - shows are very rarely cancelled.

Listen! Mee had plans to Manja @ Epcot, but May 21st park close at 5:30pm for Ticketed Private Event! Also didn't look like Luminous played at 9pm or at all, and Spaceship Earth remained color Blue. So while Epic had their night big opening ceremony, Disney closed an entire park to commemorate Stitch!
