Games and other screen-based activities definitely have their place. IMHO, inside a Disney park is not one of those places. To improve guest immersion in a new Disney park, do away with any reason a guest might have to look at their phones. For that matter, CMs too.

I don't think Iger has any regrets. From what I've seen, Nintendo had a lot of control over the project. We know from Potter Disney doesn't really want to give that much control up. And he still doesn't take video games seriously.

Almost guaranteed to be a test for more Disney characters with the digital Fortnite universe. I don't think many understand how big Disney is aiming for with this $1.5B investment. Going to change everything.

They just decreased the value of Vbucks substantially as well. Also, the simpsons map was the most fun I had in the game in years. That map was incredible compared to the one they released for the new season. The simpson map is prob the best map in Fortnite since launch.

Emphasis on "Fortnite as a platform".

Their attempt at being "Roblox Again" hasn't driven up player count as much as they like. Lego modes have had a low -stagnant player count. Festival has struggled. Ballistic and Rocket Racing are being sunset. Add on the afformentioned v-buck inflation and you have rough waters for the game ahead.

I think if the Disney mode doesn't set the world on fire, Epic will get more lay offs and divert the whole Fortnite team into making sure Battle Royale is the best experience possible.
