Spoiler alert: the stretch limo is out of fashion.
Well, I'm sure The Electric Mayhem will give them custom paint jobs...

about yeah.

2 minutes long from station release to station return. I always find it amusing when 7DMT is quoted at 3 minutes long. Even the last 20 seconds of that 2 minutes is slowly going past the cottage.

Wasn't station release at 0:07 and station return at 3:20? And isn't that more than 3 minutes?

I'm still confused about how you gauge that 7DMT is just 2:00 minutes since your own standard is station-to-station. And doesn't the video show it's more than 3 minutes? At what point are you stopping the stop-watch?

:10 to 2:15.

I guess you are counting waiting for the train in front to unload as part of the attraction?
Ah.

Yes, I am counting that. A story-coaster stops to tell stories.

Would you have counted the time of Energy Adventure as only being when the audience vehicles were in motion? Or stop the stop watch every time TGMR stopped for a scene?

I don’t think that’s a fair comparison. You aren’t being told the story for that whole minute. Had there only been 1 train on the track. That entire scene would take 10 seconds at most.

Exactly. That show scene is there next to brake holding. It is like extending RnR time because you were parked at launch for longer due to delay ahead.

The designed ride time on Test Track is not longer because people are taking longer to check your seatbelts at the checkpoint.

So it’s been a while since this has been announced, and I have to admit…

I’m stoked for this ride to open. Am I upset we’re losing MuppetVision? Yes. I know they’re preserving the footage somehow and we can watch recordings of it on youtube anytime we want, but it’s a shame we’re losing the little details like the queue, showroom, etc.

BUT… this is a going to be a great thing for the Muppets IP in the long run. ever since Splash has gone to Tiana, despite its quality/reception, Tiana has been EVERYWHERE in Disney marketing and merch. I have a feeling this will have a similar effect, especially for younger generations. Now they’ll be raving about “I went on the Muppets ride!” to refer to RNRC. I also think the current RNRC layout is a perfect transition to a Muppets overlay- wouldn’t be surprised if they reuse a lot of the props and theming from MV for the queue/end of the ride. It’s not like it’ll be as obvious that another ride existed there before since RNRC had almost no fantastical theming.

Whatever happens, when this opens, expect to see a LOT more emphasis on the Muppets in WDW since this ride overlay will be the “next big thing” for a few years until Cars/Villains opens (in 2035 at this rate /s).

Do we think they'll announce the closure for RnRc in advance...
It'd be a shocker if they did. I'm sure they don't want a bunch of Steven Tyler groupies wailing and moaning at the load/unload stations.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I have a very strong feeling about this.
