My first thought is, “it’s difficult to delay something without an opening date.”
As long as it premieres before late September, it’s not delayed. People need to understand that any information provided on fan forums is not meant to be taken as fact.

Yes I know, we're looking at July ATM.
However, do you think MK would Grand Open Starlight during Party Season? Some of us are guessing MK wouldn't because of only 3-4 Non Party Nights weekly.If it opens during party season, something is seriously wrong... No chance it does. More chance it gets a delay, but not that significant of one, than it opening during party season.Yes I know, we're looking at July ATM.

A little bit of pink in the west but dark enough for Luminous and Fantasmic!
Spectromagic and MSEP was always at 9.

Yep. I only ever notice it during Luminous since you can so clearly see the horizon in World Showcase. In late June, it's pretty distracting during the start of Luminous.
They ran the Halloween parade during daylight hours last August, so it doesn't seem they care.
Yep, 8:15 last year and this year.

Hopefully not ONLY at 8:15. No BtY in the dark until September would stink.
2 BTYs were confirmed on X.
It has always been very tight for summer, and on a somewhat flexible timeline. The reason a date has not been announced is that it still isn't ready, and they can't commit yet.
