The only thing missing is the modernized walkaround version of Mickey Mouse like the 1971 vinyl record for MSEP used the 60s/70s era walkaround Mickey.

I had a feeling something is happening but it's not some media/special guest only night? The hours are shortened to 10pm instead of the normal 12am.

I’ve heard Cast have a preview after hours..but the parade has to get to Main Street somehow prior to that

Wow, every time I see something on broadcast TV, it seems so dumb. I watched the Today Show on the new MSC World America cruise ship and had to turn it off as it was unwatchable.

They've done Cast previews for Magic happens before when it returned from covid hiatus and they drove the parade floats back after the event was over.I’ve heard Cast have a preview after hours..but the parade has to get to Main Street somehow prior to that

Two things. Interesting that they have a virtual queue for this. When they gave out posters for Tiana's Bayou Adventure there was plenty of stock.Magic Key holders can pick up a Paint the Night parade poster from May 27 to June 2, 2025 at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard:

From May 27 to June 2, 2025, stop by the Hyperion Theater Courtyard for a Magic Key 70th Celebration event! Enjoy themed photo ops and a special photo booth with complimentary prints. Magic Key holders can also receive a Paint the Night parade poster as a souvenir, while supplies last. Offer may be limited in availability.
Event Details
An eligible, active Magic Key pass is required to participate. Limit of one keepsake per Magic Key holder, while supplies last.
- Location: Hyperion Theater Courtyard in Hollywood Land, Disney California Adventure Park
- Dates: May 27 to June 2, 2025
- Times:
- Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Park Reservations and Virtual Queue Required
A virtual queue will be in place for the Magic Key 70th Celebration event; Magic Key holders will need to join the virtual queue in the Disneyland app.
Magic Key holders with a Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park reservation will have the opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
How to Join the Virtual Queue
You’ll receive a push notification when your boarding group is called with the designated return window for you to check in at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard.
- In the Disneyland app, tap the ≡ menu at the bottom of your screen, then select “Virtual Queues”
- Join the virtual queue for the Magic Key 70th Celebration Event
Second, it's interesting that The Little Mermaid float seemingly won't get it's canopy back, the one they removed so it would fit under the trolley lines in DCA. Although it could just be for the art, they didn't add Frozen to the art either.
