I, and many others, watch and have watched ordinary TV series for decades. With many episodes per season. And many seasons, sometimes even going on for a dozen years.

So, I'm totally OK with Marvel series even if they aren't huge 'blockbusters' that become must-watch TV that everyone talks about and quotes.

Marvel's worst TV series are often better than the best broadcast/cable series out there. Except for Mutants. That series was a Geneva Convention crime against humanity.

It’s a Geneva convention crime against humanity we still don’t know anything about ms. Marvel season 2.

Agreed, too many forget what and how episodic tv used to be. Kids today have it too good and expect too much.

I remember being home sick from school and watching soaps with my grandma and thinking this is stupid but still completely enthralled in the “story” like a car crash.

Echo was the last straw for me. I still love the MCU, but I'm movies only now.
To be fair I think the majority of the MCU audience is and will continue to be strictly movie watchers. It has always been mostly the hardcore fans that were into the shows, and I don't see that changing for most no matter whether they are one-offs or directly tied to the movies.

The shows have almost become a chore to me. I liked Agatha but thought that Dardevil: Born again was a bore. I am looking forward to Vision Quest as I have like the previous project Terry Matalas has worked on. I’ve thought for a while that D+ should be used for Marvel animation and any one-offs.

Understood and can agree with that for the most average viewers. For me as I've said I'll always want more as I'm into this stuff, but can understand why it feels like homework or a chore for many. This is why I always took Feige at his word, and for the most part he stuck to that, if you want to watch all the D+ content its there for you but it won't be required watching for understanding the movies.

Daredevil: born again was about as exciting as Andor season 2.
