Who cares. Do ever have anything nice to say about Epic.
That's definitely something which needs management attention. This is a top tier theme park destination, not some random nobody's internet blog.

Disney, Universal, even Six Flags. No excuse for this in final form intended for public eye, and I'm sure will be corrected in little time.

Spot the misspelled word.

If this was at Disney, everyone will surely have an opinion about it.
I would really like to see the behind the scenes on how these signs are created. They MUST be created on a computer, whatever system creates this, there is no spell check??

Even if there isn't all text should be fed into something that does spell check, exported from that into what ever makes this.

Yeah, I can see a misspelled word that is some other actual word get by, but, "restaints" should have had the magic wavy red underline.

Then again, "kiester" and "EPOCT" also got through...

Epic Universe hours have been updated and added through June 30:

May 22-June 1: 9am-10pm
June 2-15, 17-22, 25-29: 10am-9pm
June 16, 23, 24, 30: 10am-10pm

Finally some serious operating hours. Very interested to see how crowds respond with the nighttime spectacular (a la DCA World of Color) + emphasis on lighting packages (a la Pandora)

Yes! Epic was made to be seen at night. If they don’t want to increase the hours then they should consider opening the park later than 9:00 AM so it can be open for longer at night.

The theme park enthusiast community should really push for this.

I'm not saying that they definitely took my advice. They probably didn't... but there's a chance!

Edit - I misread the post, didn't realize most of the days are a 9 PM closing.

So I've been watching various vloggers' videos of Epic Universe...and it feels so good to say that Epic has exceeded my wary but high expectations. The attention to detail, the artistry, the lavish themeing, the rides that set a new standard for theme park attractions, and even the food getting rave reviews overall. Plus the park is so gorgeous...wow.

I haven't posted here much lately because I just don't care much about Disney parks anymore. Under Iger's leadership, they're self-destructing, and none of the new announced expansions for WDW interest me. Except maybe Villains Land, but we all know that it'll likely be lackluster and corners will be cut. As usual, Iger will lean heavily on IP and nostalgia, not innovation. And I'm kinda tired of that. The only Disney park I'd care to visit now is Tokyo Disneyland. But until I get there, Epic Universe will do just fine. Bravo, Universal. You're my new Number One.

A lot of amusement and theme parks regularly open at 10:00 AM and do just fine. Cedar Point, for example.

I don't know why Orlando has conditioned everyone to think opening at 9:00 AM is a requirement. If you're a morning person, fine. If you're not, earlier openings just make your vacation that much more stressful.

Also, yes, it's a money and maintenance thing. If corporate is giving them the option of either: A - opening at 9:00 AM to be "in line" with the other parks but closing early so people barely get to see the park at night, or B: opening later so people can see more of the park at night, I am very glad they have apparently chosen the second option.

That said, June-August in Florida mean it basically doesn't get dark until 9:00, so still having 9:00 be the standard closing time isn't late enough.

Nobody tell him about the unannounced 5th portal - Muppet Metropolis.
