I'll be surprised to see this get switched to an indoor park in a few years..Oh, it would be the largest taking over Warner Bros World I'm size but, they still have a ridiculously huge plot of unused land for at least 4-5 more themed areas and it would also be one of of which is the first Harry Potter themed area outside of a Universal park.

Before the "this is where the $60 billion is getting spent comments" appear, this is separate to that $60 billion:

"The new resort will be fully developed and built by Miral. Disney and its legendary Imagineers will lead creative design and operational oversight to provide a world-class experience. Miral, which has developed a number of family entertainment destinations on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi in collaboration with American and European brands, will operate the resort. "

Well there goes the 60 billion lol

Seriously though, since the government are going to be paying for everything, is it too late to convince the rich investors that they should buy the dirt field desert Cars ride off Magic Kingdom and have a huge exclusive? Haha that would be tragic if this happened and we were stuck with the river forever
This entire project is funded by Miral, similar to how OLC is with Tokyo Disney.

Distinctly Disney, authentically Abu Dhabi
Close. They went with:

This new theme park resort in Abu Dhabi will be authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati - combing Disney’s iconic stories, characters and attractions with Abu Dhabi’s vibrant culture, stunning shorelines, and breathtaking architecture. ✨ http://di.sn/6001NEslx #YasIsland #InAbuDhabi

Gotta switch the adverbs so it doesn’t get stale.

No
Here’s the quote on what they said when WaPo asked them how they plan to deal with the criticism:

“Disney is a global company with operations all over the world,” the company said in a statement. “We are always respectful of the countries and cultures where we do business, while always adhering to our own standards and values.”

Unless those standards and values get in the way of making a BOAT LOAD of money.

The hypocrisy and hubris is amazing.
