Maybe It's Time For Disney To Bring Back Hand Drawn Animation

Hi,
Okay, before I say something, this is just a suggestion and my wishful thinking. Anyway, since the Snow White Remake is a complete critical and box office flop and rightfully so, in my opinion, I think Disney should stop making live action remakes and bring back hand drawn animation for making more hand drawn animated movies again with continuation of doing CGI animated films. I mean, I think the people are sick and tired of Live Action remakes. Yes, the live action remake of Lilo and Stitch is coming and I'm sure it'll do better at the box office and the live action of Moana, but I think, like I said, in my opinion and suggestion, this maybe the good time to bring back hand drawn animation. Because now there are a lot've rumors that Disney is considering bringing back hand drawn animation. Not ssure how true it is, so I'll take it as a grain of salt. Anyway, I know this maybe unlikely, but I'm saying. Maybe it's time for Disney to give hand drawn animation another try with the right story, the right writers, and the right songwriting team. Again, just saying.

I'd love to see more (or any) hand drawn Disney movies but it ain't happening any time soon.
That's the thing. There is a lot of new animation that is hand drawn (not by Disney). Not everything has to be in 3D. Sure it is computer assisted. No one is painting cells anymore.

While I don't disagree they should stop the Live Action remakes in general, they don't have to stop them in order for Disney to do hand drawn animation again. So its not an either/or situation, they could do both if they wanted to.

For now however I don't see Disney making any real concerted effort to bring back hand drawn animation in any major way. They may do it for a few shorts here and there, but a major feature I doubt it, at least not any time soon.

But who knows stranger things have happened.

True, but do you see Disney at this point making an investment back into hand drawn 2D? I don't, at least not soon.
