Obviously they are still bitter about Splash Mountain’s demise.

I’ve never seen a former attraction in recent memory have so many stalwart defenders.
I know right? I don't even remember that thing existed pre-pandemic. I never seen someone make an account for SaveGreatMovieRide or SaveOsbornelights

Im bowing out of this one. I stand corrected. Everything Disney has announced via D23 or other means is done spot on to perfection to the concept art and the company never disappoints & builds things as advertised. Im not sure what i was thinking posting anything else…. Long live the Great Iger and Skinny Jeans!!!
It's obvious you didn't take the correction that Disney sometimes adds rather than subtracts or that the pattern you've observed is part of the process of dreaming big and then having to deal with the practicalities of execution and not on malevolent intentions. If Disney has a fault here, it's consistently going over budget and having to reduce the scope, and not actually reducing their budget.

The idea that a company will consistently budget for something and then, in the middle of execution, decide to cut back on the budget is a fantasy only haters can believe in. But, haters gonna hate.

The only one with malevolent intentions is you, for this is not how one "bows out" by throwing snarky shots while heading out the door.

Stitch is still sitting empty last i checked and multiple insiders said there were plans. Same with speedway. Fantasyland last i recall 7Ds ride was suppose to be much longer… also a last minute SA/Brazil country that never happened. So keep defending them its fine.

Rumors are not promises. Stitch, 7DMT, Brazil, etc, none of those were ever promised by Disney. There are a lot of ideas and lots of rumors of things that they think about or even make plans for that never happen. Going back to the late 90s / early 2000s, project Gemini, Beastly Kingdom, etc.

Such things happen a ton at Universal too, we just don't hear about it as much for some reason.

8 so far but I believe 9 counting the Mickey float. My own speculation but since they stopped releasing concept art for awhile after the Wish float I think that’s an indication they revealed all the floats and are probably going to release the last Mickey float along with the opening date. We will see.

Wasn't there also mention of a Royal float, or is that already included? It is the Mickey float as the Royal float?

Either way probably 9 or 10 main fooats

I am just happy we are getting a form of an Electrical parade BACK in WDW after about 10 years.

I am assuming it will be the latest technology and hoping it will run reliably.

Very true, and while it may or may not be the ideal parade that some wanted we are lucky they decided to go back to having a nighttime parade. Hopefully MK never goes through another long time span without one again. It would be interesting to know how things went down after MSEP left and what led up to the decision for Starlight.

Hopefully there will be a few small floats to and not just dancers in between the main floats.

Agreed - and some of the dancers almost look like mini floats with some of the outfits they have in like Paint the Night, but hope there are some floats like these to add to the fullness (just using Paint the Night as recent example)

I want these floats in Starlight and I’ll be disappointed if they are not lol. They are a perfect nod to Spectro and deserve to be in Starlight, not Paint The Night in my opinion, Wrong park lol.
