yes, that you clearly are oblivious to why that stigma exists with Disney projects if you think the recent EPCOT drama has anything to do with the comments.Okay sub in any other example. The point still stands.

If that's your measurement, then whatever replaces Stitch will set a new record.[...] Clock starts for monsters and cars when the things they’re replacing close.
I predict By the time work on a replacement starts it will have been 13 years since it closed. And that’s at the earliest. If that's your measurement, then whatever replaces Stitch will set a new record.
Sorry but I don’t understand what the problem is. The point I was making was that I don’t know why people assume even little things like this are going to take 2 to 3 years. But this is all a moot point anyway because my original post was merely trying to bring some humor to the situation.yes, that you clearly are oblivious to why that stigma exists with Disney projects if you think the recent EPCOT drama has anything to do with the comments.

Why so snarky ???You don't know why? Srsly? Go back and look at the construction timeline of any project that wasn't a DVC hotel in the last two decades.
You might start understanding some of the jokes like... ladder sighting... and much more. So much yet to learn.. you have.
Why so snarky ???
Get off the high horse buddy, you're talking about a coaster in a family theme park, not philosophy.if you make me repeat myself multiple times… well I really don’t have the patience to spoon feed you anymore

Doesn't help that you're a little wrong in your presumptions.

Also:
- Test Track
- Tiana's Bayou Adventure
- Country Bear Jamboree
- Zootopia
- Dinosaur (expected opening)
How many projects have been done in a reasonable timeframe for what they are In your opinion? Because I would argue that as posted above Tiana’s country bear musical jamboree the 2012 test track (bad as it was) galaxys edge pandora star tours: the adventures continue and frozen ever after will all done in a reasonable amount of time.Always happen to hear helpful corrections and dialog.
But if you are going to try to advocate Disney doesn't have said reputation.. well then that's neither of the above.
I've said it upthread, Tron and Epcot stuff were outliers. They were extremely public and shifted public perception of project completion rate.Always happen to hear helpful corrections and dialog.

It took one year to convert Take flight to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger SpinHow many projects have been done in a reasonable timeframe for what they are?
What if I told you it took a little over a year to turn splash mountain into Tiana’s bayou adventure? It took one year to convert Take flight to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin![]()
No they were not. Which is why it's been a recurring theme in the fan community for DECADES. And why you can easily find threads like this one... ages before Tron or Epcot's redo were a thing - https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/why-is-disney-sooooooo-slow-to-build.865054/ That's 2013.. and without even a hint of trying to cite the reputation the company has had.I've said it upthread, Tron and Epcot stuff were outliers. They were extremely public and shifted public perception of project completion rate.
I wouldn't have believed you! It seemed longer than that! What if I told you it took a little over a year to turn splash mountain into Tiana’s bayou adventure?
The conversation isn't about my opinion of the company. A reputation is not my personal take. How many projects have been done in a reasonable timeframe for what they are I your opinion?
It closed at the magic kingdom January 23rd 2023. Tiana’s bayou adventure opened at the magic kingdom June 28th 2024. So it took about a year and a half to transform the attraction.I wouldn't have believed you! It seemed longer than that!
But if you gut it and only install 5 AAs should it take that long?It closed at the magic kingdom January 23rd 2023. Tiana’s bayou adventure opened at the magic kingdom June 28th 2024. So it took about a year and a half to transform the attraction.
