yes, that you clearly are oblivious to why that stigma exists with Disney projects if you think the recent EPCOT drama has anything to do with the comments.

Sorry but I don’t understand what the problem is. The point I was making was that I don’t know why people assume even little things like this are going to take 2 to 3 years. But this is all a moot point anyway because my original post was merely trying to bring some humor to the situation.

You don't know why? Srsly? Go back and look at the construction timeline of any project that wasn't a DVC hotel in the last two decades.
You might start understanding some of the jokes like... ladder sighting... and much more. So much yet to learn.. you have.

How many projects have been done in a reasonable timeframe for what they are In your opinion? Because I would argue that as posted above Tiana’s country bear musical jamboree the 2012 test track (bad as it was) galaxys edge pandora star tours: the adventures continue and frozen ever after will all done in a reasonable amount of time.

I've said it upthread, Tron and Epcot stuff were outliers. They were extremely public and shifted public perception of project completion rate.
All project of the prior decade and most likely the next starting from about a year or two ago were generally even. 3 years for a land, 1.5 for a major refurbishmsnt.

No they were not. Which is why it's been a recurring theme in the fan community for DECADES. The punch list of comically slow projects could fill this thread for pages and why it's been a conversation in the community for literally the last 20yrs. This revisionist non-sense about EPCOT and TRON causing this perception is trash.

The conversation isn't about my opinion of the company. A reputation is not my personal take.
I mean you all are connected to the largest repository of human knowledge that has ever existed.. readily searchable.. yet people still like to live in darkness for some reason.
If you want to revisit the speed of Disney projects.. it's really a subject for another thread. There are many you can even pick from and pickup again.. because IT'S NOT A NEW CONCERN.
For BTMRR - people were excited to see the pace at which the track work was progressing - because we've been conditioned by Disney to expect projects to move at sloth crawling pace. Where here, heavy construction was ripping through what is a very large and complex project. It was great to see. And even earlier in this thread, you can find references to timelines of other coaster projects... even space mountain was eyed to take over 2.5 years. The volume of work visibility being done at BTMRR was a happy thing for most people.

It closed at the magic kingdom January 23rd 2023. Tiana’s bayou adventure opened at the magic kingdom June 28th 2024. So it took about a year and a half to transform the attraction.
