Maybe we are asking the wrong question? And how are they going to hide/camouflage that?
On the plus side, we don’t have people saying how it’s going to open early because a pre-engineering metal building is going up quickly. When a Notice of Commencement has an expiration that is close to one year from when it was filed I take it with a grain of salt. NOC's have default expiration of one year if a specific expiration is not given, so I think sometimes when people are filling them out they just write in the one year date even though it's not actually necessary.
Am the only one that thinks it’s funny that after all the speculation that it would open earlier then expected it ended up getting pushed out into spring?
They are not intentionally delaying this projectI'm not surprised. It's a normal thing they do. They like to spread costs across multiple quarters
Okay so we’re doing the whole because the Epcot core took years (which was absolutely insane) we have to assume everything else will most likely take that long? But regardless I was merely trying to find the humor in this turn of events. You are missing context. Remember this kind of project was worried it could span two or three years…. To complete even in 18m would be blazing for disney and still fits in people’s amazement on how fast the project had moved through the heavy track work
It will take roughly 1/3 trons.Okay so we’re doing the whole because the Epcot core took years (which was absolutely insane) we have to assume everything else will most likely take that long?

Okay sub in any other example. The point still stands.Dude… disney has had that reputation for longer than you’ve been alive.
Everything *does* take that long. Disney didn't get a reputation for glacial pace due to one project. It has been decades of experience.Okay so we’re doing the whole because the Epcot core took years (which was absolutely insane) we have to assume everything else will most likely take that long? I think Pandora took more than 3 years?Every major park project from NFL to SWGE has generally taken 3ish years to build.
The outliers to that are Epcot stuff and Tron.
Pandora started construction in 2014 so a little over 3 years.I think Pandora took more than 3 years?
Sincere question. Just looking for dates, that's allPandora started construction in 2014 so a little over 3 years.
Clock has already started for tropical Americas and BTM. Clock starts for monsters and cars when the things they’re replacing close.Sincere question. Just looking for dates, that's all
When did/does the clock start for:
Thunder mountain renovation.
The Tropical Americas in AK
Monstropolis land in DHS
Carsland in MK
