Eh not really IMO lol, the original was way better. But yes hopefully they know the importance of getting Starlights soundtrack right. Big shoes to fill.

Can’t please everyone that’s for sure.Have to admit music wise I am even more concerned after hearing the preview of Friendtastic and also the new Villains show original song. Yikes. Disneys entertainment songs of late have not been the greatest. Some are alright but not how they used to be.
Correct. That's what I've heard as well. In park stuff won't start for a while longer AFAIK.
Not that I know of. At least not quite yet.

no - it did with Genie+ but with LLMP they took away things like that a number of the character M&Gs
I wonder if they may include view of Starlight with the HEA Dessert party and then increase the price since you get reserved viewing for two things

I want to say that at least 1 MSEP had Genie + or something as well. When did FOF's Genie + end? After the 50th?

A combo of Starlight and HEA might be a good seller, but they might do it separately unless the HEA party alone has not been selling well.
It will be interesting to see what viewing location of Starlight turns out to be more popular. I say this because depending if there is new parade route lighting effects in some way, they probably wont be the same through the whole route. MS and the hub will, as always, be the most popular. Town Square and Frontierland will be the weakest unless they have added new lighting to those area. Of course some people prefer the starting and end points of the parade.
Center of the Train Station is already VIP for FOF I believe. If somehow Starlight starts at TBA, I would be at the Flag Pole! Hands Down!!!!!

definitely could see it being a seperate thing too ... just thinking with the set up for the dessert parties now one group watches from the dessert party area, but then one group does the desserts first, then goes to the viewing area while the other starts at the viewing area then desserts, so thinking could just do you either do the first Starlight-> HEA -> Desserts or Dessert -> HEA -> 2nd Starlight
But if enough time to cycle though the area 3 separate groups. each paying separately, then definitely could work

FP+ had a viewing area for MSEP that was in Town Square, so maybe they do the same for this ... Genie+ only started Oct 2021 so no night time parade then

I wonder if they have decided where Starlight will start. I have mixed feelings because it would be cool to see Starlight coming down MSUSA with the castle in the background, however watching the parades especially Spectro from the Town Square parade gate was always my favorite spot. Something special about seeing the gates open and revealing the floats.
MSEP and more then likely Starlight will probably not have the floats lined up in front of the gate like Spectro was. My guess is for MSEP the original Blue Fairy was to tall to wait behind the gate and Tink was probably to tall as well. I’m assuming the Blue Fairy in Starlight will be equally as tall as the original if not taller.
I have no reason to believe, based on historical and current knowledge of how Disney creates and manages entertainment, that it is any different this time around. Timelines are definitely extended compared to parades past, but this kind of thing is very normal.
Right but I know I saw areas roped off for FOF Genie + on YT during the 50th .Actually I didn't know that ended........
If we're back to a Town Square Opening, Blue Fairy will be behing City Hall until the Gates open.
IIRC, most of MSEP was on the City Hall Side. Cindy's Unit was on the West Bypass for some reason.

@wdwmagic @ToTBellHop have either of you heard that certain elements of the parade that were originally cut have been added back to the final product? I'm intentionally being vague, but what I was told is encouraging, and will add a lot of life to this parade.

That’s interesting I wonder was it mostly the in between elements like dancers or performers that are positioned behind the floats.

I hope this element being cut is NOT Peter Pan and Wendy on a harness and flying. There's still time, train them to fly lol!
I’m don’t think that’s cut as in the concept art, the poster, and the commercial it shows Peter flying.
