I said nothing about Disney saying it. I was referring to people arguing fans shouldn't be negative about the project because Disney is going to replace it with something that's the equivalent on natural beauty.
They could market it as a whole new park. Theme parks are experiences in built space. That experience is what’s really important, not what is just said.
Disney marketing the Cars attractions as part of Frontierland is Disney gaslighting their guests.

It is a simple request though for people to stop referring to it as Cars Land when it isn't Cars Land. We know it doesn't fit in Frontierland but that doesn't mean we should falsely be referring to this project as Cars Land. Cars Land and Cars attractions are 2 very different scales

There is no inherent scale to a Cars Land. It’s very clearly a distinct area and as of right now doesn’t have a given name. A land having distinct parts isn’t something new. Magic Kingdom itself has Caribbean Plaza and Storybook Circus.
I hope it has at least 2 shops , restaurant and a QSR location to make it feel complete.

It feels like I'm banging my head against a wall on this thread. Clearly when people are saying Cars Land, there comparing it to the actual Cars Land at DCA. If you ae referring to it as a subsection of Frontierland, which it is, it will likely be called Piston Peak. But until that's confirmed, it's just easier to call it the Cars attractions

While I agree fundamentally, the -land suffix generally has a very specific connotation that certain posters are clearly extrapolating all the way out to a certain end that differs from Storybook Circus, Caribbean Plaza, etc. It seems like it would make more sense to just call it Piston Peak, though I know that's not official. I just very much doubt we'd be in a situation where a pairing of Moana attractions in the Fire Mountain plot would be getting called Moanaland.
We have Space Mountain, and Thunder Mountain, we use to have Splash Mountain.

Agree. In my book, the printed park map is canon. It may be misguided, or illogical, or we might find better ways to parse the landscape ourselves, but lands are what they say they are.
