I said nothing about Disney saying it. I was referring to people arguing fans shouldn't be negative about the project because Disney is going to replace it with something that's the equivalent on natural beauty.Who said we had to pretend that? Disney made it clear that RoA was going.
They never said "and we'll do it in a way such that you won't even notice the river is gone!!"
1. The whole area is not going to he a dirt track, it will be a national forest and the ride appears to be mostly hidden within it.
4. Just because the River is leaving does not mean that the national park setting full of trees, waterfalls, and rock formations will not also be beautiful to look at AND provide a spot to rest in even if you don’t wish to ride the attraction(s) there. It also does not mean that we won’t be getting wilderness themes. If anything this opens us up to MORE of that by diversifying the settings and aesthetics of the area rather than a bland looking wildest west style pathway next to the attractions.
