That should never be a reason for bad show or a declining of a professional look.IMO Erodes the Magic a bit... sometimes a lot, but they are better for working in the Florida elements.
Huuummmmm... I was pointing out a possible benefit of the new " costumes": but only as an observation not a endorsement. I agree that they can be better and there are better examples of changes they've made while still keeping in themed costume. That should never be a reason for bad show or a declining of a professional look.
It’s not always the case though - there’s been some good costume updates. The new monorail costumes and friendship boat costumes are great for example and are both an improvement over the previous design.
This was most noticeable in DAK when all their OG costumes were redone and assimilated. They lost probably half their costumes. Biggest offenders is the train now wearing the standard park entry/discovery island costume, and jungle trek replacing the Asian costume with the standard animal keeper outfit. Those two changes really take away from the stories of the area.Huuummmmm... I was pointing out a possible benefit of the new " costumes": but only as an observation not a endorsement. In general I feel WDW is trending away from costumes for a show TO uniforms for a task effective operation.
Wait... I can't be the only one who thought, "well, the shorts are definately shorter."
Tan lines? Anyone?
