For the few minutes I could stand being in there, using the old shootin' arcade targets as kinetic decor was the first thing I thought of. Totally flummoxed as to why this didn't happen.

Yea, a few of those little “Easter Eggs”, at least, would have been kinda’ cool.
Surprised “Imagineers” these days don’t seem to get that.

Bob has made it clear their target group now is DVC members ---it makes them a ton of guarantied money. I remember when guest satisfaction was the goal --how times have changed
Iger has made it clear that the parks in general are money-makers worth investing in... in order to make more money.

I've never heard him say anything about DVC specifically. Do you have a citation, or are you assuming this?

It's plain and dark to the point of being unwelcoming. The photos below seem brighter to me than the inside felt.

There is a handful of photos on the walls, one painting, and a couple of knickknacks. I'm pretty sure the second floor is a reduced-scale prop and can't be used for anything.

It's a brown box with a soda fountain and snacks. It's not at all an interesting space that you'd want to spend time in.

I was at the empty Epcot DVC Lounge stuffing bags of free potato chips into my pants while you suckers were waiting in line!

Bob Iger was on property on Monday (For real he was). Maybe he was at the new DVC lounge changing the mix ratio on syrup to water down the soft-drinks on the freestyle machine.

I think he was adding the green dye to the beer and upping the cost by a couple of bucks also.

I heard he was changing the freestyle cartridges out to RC cola and Dr thunder.

did they forget to design the furniture and just buy whatever they had left at a furnishings going out of business sale?

In the photos everything looks consistent design wise and then there are random chairs and tables that don’t match each other or the decor.
