Two expansion pads to the left and right of SNW at Epic, one being very large. I have it on good authority that it will be used for Nintendo as well (but maybe not *technically* an expansion to the existing land)
Those spaces were not created with the intention of being used for Super Nintendo World.

The land is designed with program filling the perimeter. There are no gaps that were held for expansion except the portal to Donkey Kong Country (which was never an expansion at Epic Universe). Toadstool Cafe in particular is what sits between the land and the space to the east.

The expansion pad to the west was intended for a new land which is why it has a connection to Celestial Park. The service roads that run between the lands towards Celestial Park are not just service and emergency access points but also full of major utility lines. Pizza Moon is directly serviced by the road running between Super Nintendo World and this expansion pad.

Lastly, the perimeter walls of Super Nintendo World is full of diagonal bracing. The extent of the bracing can be seen in the construction photos. These hinder the ability to move people through those walls.

Program can be moved, utilities can be relocated and structural systems can be reconfigured. It’s doable but it comes with challenges and cost, in other words, not easily.

they could have used the Universal Monsters to kick the Haunted Mansion;s butt.
The new monsters land looks incredible. It's my most anticipated land, um, portal, whatever. But yeah, it's going to be amazing. It may even match HM in some aspects. But no way, no how, will anything "kick HM's butt".

That's where the technically comes in. If the parking lot rumor is true, this will likely be the expansion pad used

Epic Universe’s key mistake is not having any attractions with no height requirement outside of a carousel. Universal will never beat Disney with young families.

Nintendo land needs a ride for everyone, and for some reason lacks it.

Wait, does Yoshi have a height requirement?

3 year old won’t have much to do.

Carousel, shows, character meets, likely Yoshi….…..what about that boat/waterway attraction in HTTYD land??

……should be enough to work with for millions of 3 years considering the crazy amounts of 360 degree of frontage details throughout the park, attention and energy levels and eats/treats/shops.

The average guest doesn’t spend hours looking for details. They notice them on a subconscious level but don’t go looking for them. Animal kingdom is one of the most detailed parks in the world and it’s been a half day park for most people since it opened.

What about the Flying Thing in HTTYD?
