Last year, Walt Disney World announced on March 12th 2024 a summer Magic Ticket deal (4 parks, 1 day each). Anyone know if this planned for summer 2025 and possibly when it will be announced?

I have no inside knowledge, but I have started to price out universal tickets, since Disney tickets for the summer (without the discount) are SO overpriced. Plus, all of the refurbishments AND the new Universal park.... Fingers crossed they announce something soon, because I'm looking more and more at Universal.

Odd Disney let Universal release Single Day tickets before Disney announced a Magic Ticket. The Magic Tickets are nonrefundable and would've been a way to lock in guests to visit their parks.

Not really. My guess is Disney is hoping those who buy Epic tickets will visit Disney too regardless of Magic Tickets

Did you end up with the same sticker price shock I did? If I'm not paying $2700 for tickets, I'm not paying $2300 for a park that I have no allegiance/connection to. I was all set to try Universal this year til I priced out trying it. We are looking at a beach vacation (or possibly a cruise) instead.

While $2300 is a lot, I would never pick a beach vacation or cruise vacation instead. I would be bored out of my mind after a day. When we do vacation we are on the go all day everyday.

We would still do Universal as IP has never been the reason we visit parks. We have no attachment to Universal IP other than Mario

No inside knowledge of whether the 4-Park Magic ticket will be offered again this year, but my guess is yes it will. However it has never covered Easter, which is later this year. So I doubt it will get announced for another week or two.

Tickets for Epic are about $179/day....and fluctuates.... It is going to be crazy there this year with the first year opening and all.....I am sure in time the ticket prices will come down...
The other Universal parks are not as expensive...Their annual passes seem like a bargain next to the Disney prices....

Disney is certainly more expensive, but not really a fair comparison. I also doubt Uni will be much cheaper once they include EU.
