Its not complete. Still got nearly 3 months to go.
They won’t be sending construction equipment through these areas to install trees at this point. It’s been handed over to operations. This project is largely complete. Just final touch-ups and a focus on ride operations—things that can happen with guests (even if they happen to be TMs and their families) in the park. They would need to install construction walls for anything more and, needless to say, if that were still necessary, they wouldn’t be holding previews.

Any vast expanses of concrete we see now will be vast expanses of concrete in June. Just hotter. They aren’t going to dig a hole in the new concrete to plant a maple tree.

Dang!!!!
Celestial Park is Von Munchausen

Early on Universal indicated this thing was going to be adorned with plentiful tree, water and plant and we’re getting EPCOT level grounds

I'm not sure any of those are aimed solely at children -- maybe Toontown and Seussland, but certainly not Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, or Super Nintendo World.

Our back-and-forth stemmed from you considering Isle of Berk too child-focused. I'm struggling to see how Isle of Berk is only for children but Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, and Nintendo World is for everyone.

You could even argue that SNW is more kid-focused due to it's rides lacking any actual thrills and DK being a very tame kiddy coaster compared to Wing Flyers.

No it didn't. I specifically said I wasn't arguing that Isle of Berk was aimed at children the way something like Legoland is.

I think you indicated it was designed for children and so there shouldn't be any complaints about it, and I said if that was true it wouldn't be a smart decision by Universal. I never said I agreed that it was designed for children.

The concern is that there aren't that many trees, not that they don't have leaves. There are large areas of path with no trees or shade.

It's the same issue with MK's current hub.

The desire to have wide walkways for crowds, with unobstructed views for shows means we get large concrete paths relative to the planters and gardens so that even big trees look small in comparison and provide little shade.

Is anyone else sad that the fun of the epic hype train is going to end soon? Sure, I’ll love being there irl and it’s gonna rule, but it’s almost bittersweet this journey we’ve had as fans is coming to its end.
