Dinoland MAY be gone guys! It takes a special type to say something may be gone as its being demolished.
Well I guess its gonna be tougher to be a bug now that their awareness video is going away. Im sure there will be plenty of roach motels waiting for them though. Orlando has a ton of them. This must be part of disney's efforts to squash bugs in their system. Im just wondering how they plan to get rid of the rest. Maybe a little roundup or they could always make a deal with universal to create a fear factor restaurant. People can try the "Its tough to eat a bug" challenge. Then again that is probably not the most disturbing item people have eaten in orlando. Well they will have a new problem to deal with now at disney. While they may have just got rid of all their bugs they now have something even more scary that will be excited about this new show, furries. Good luck explaining that one disney. hehe

This guy was trying to say that ITTBAB & possibly Dinoland were going to be staying as permits + actual destruction is happening.I know the words you wrote are in English but I have no idea what you are trying to say.
Did Tarzan forever change his name and pic?!This guy was trying to say that ITTBAB & possibly Dinoland were going to be staying as permits + actual destruction is happening.

You can like the idea, but why do you think that others have to have some kind of special reverence for what you want? Just as you value Zootopia, others value the thematic integrity of Animal Kingdom. I could just as easily say, “Why can’t you just let Animal Kingdom fans have this?” but won’t, because that’s silly. Can we please, PLEASE stop with the damn backlash over this idea?

Why can’t you just let us Zootopia fan have this?
Made an account just to say all this? Can we please, PLEASE stop with the damn backlash over this idea? I am a massive fan of this property and I am so, so tired of the lack of Zootopia content in the western parks, when Disney KNOWS America loves this movie as much as China and we want more of it? They’re animals, and then being toony furry type characters shouldn’t matter for an Animal Kingdom setting because PEOPLE JUST LIKE THIS MOVIE. That’s enough!
Why can’t you just let us Zootopia fan have this? I love A Bug’s Life too, but please, enough of the hate already! It’s bad enough that we had to wait nine years for a sequel to my favorite buddy cop movie, while the same old princess stuff kept getting shoved in my face over and over. Just let me enjoy a Judy attraction without being shamed for it.
For the love of god, Zootopia is NOT PROBLEMATIC. No group of animals represents any particular group! There is nothing insulting in its allegory, and allegories do not need to be perfectly accurate to have value to kids! This movie does not harm minorities, its message is going to hold up forever, and I’m fed up with this film constantly being misunderstood and vilified. If you’re truly okay with the franchise, why would you attack and totally misrepresent its themes like that?Made an account just to say all this?
Okay, here's my why. It doesn't fit Animal Kingdom. I have no problem with people liking the film. It does have some problematic racial messaging considering who the predators are meant to be an analogy for and it implies that they are naturally blood-thirsty killing machines without intellect, but I also understand that was an oversight by writers trying to churn out a Disney movie that met studio demands.
But the simple fact is...the IP doesn't fit in Animal Kingdom. They could build a Zootopia attraction at Epcot in the Wonders of Life pavilion and have it focus on how foods affect us and our bodies. Or on how cities are communities are built and designed for the citizens in mind. Or it could go in Disney Studios without issue or clever writing.
I don't think people are objecting to WDW getting a Zootopia themed attraction, its rather where and how it is being implemented. I love Guardians as a franchise but hate that both attractions don't fit the park that they are in and feel cheaply themed.
Is “going savage” not in the version you watch? There is nothing insulting in its allegory
Would they enjoy it less in a better fitting location? What about the many, many kids of color who have no issue with Nick and Judy, and would love to see them (more) at the parks, regardless of the location?
Every project will have backlash. Tiana's, Rivers of America closing, MuppetVision closing, RNRC closing, DINOSAUR ... It's just the nature of being in a fanbase, especially one as large as Disney. Can we please, PLEASE stop with the damn backlash over this idea? I think this actually the replacement people are the most OK with, in a sense that the thread is only 50 pages as opposed to the tomes that is the Rivers thread, for example. Why can’t you just let us Zootopia fan have this? Why can't you understand that the theme of the park matter to some more than some silly IP. The savage thing is perfectly harmless, stop it. If you don’t like the movie, just DON’T WATCH it. Quit trying to tear its value down.Is “going savage” not in the version you watch?

Implying that minorities' natural state is feral and a danger to us is problematic. That drugs simply unlock a minority's natural state. This isn't a misunderstanding of the film considering the drug references they put in the finished film. And I can enjoy things that are problematic. For the love of god, Zootopia is NOT PROBLEMATIC.
