I wonder if they are using the refurbishment to install permanent fixtures for the halloween overlay. This would improve installation time for the events

If these are notices of commencement (not sure, but I do know that's what @danlb_2000 uses in the WDW permits thread) then that means they file them right when they start. They're allowed to start on the 6th, so I'd expect them then.

California and specifically Anaheim permits are different than Florida, there are not the same notices of commencement like in Florida. Anaheim has a permit site which can be searched, its how @SSG finds and posts the permits here.

I hope it is the ugly orange one.
This could be a sign that they need to widen the chokehold there and make room for the Earl of Sandwich building to be demolished and replaced with a bigger building.
Is Portos still ago?
Hoping that this new building ignites a need to redesign the esplanade and remove most if not all ticket booths and maybe relocate if needed to the structure court areas. Disney please give us a lush green entrance area

It's the one near Paseo and Centrico. Not the one near the entrance. Apparently it's falling apart and in disrepair and so Paseo, Centrico, and others in the area are arguing that it's lowering their value.
Porto's is still happening.
Esplanade is not being redesigned YET. Although it will be soon™️
