A breathtaking 2 feet deep!
would 8 year old be able dive under or jump from side of the Mickey pool it would or would mickey pool be to shallow for and 8 dive or jump from the side of the pool on deck 11 on Disney dream cruise ship.

Definitely no diving! I haven't had a kid in the Mickey pool in a long time, but I doubt they would like kids to be jumping into the pool.

How tiny is this 8 year old? 24 inches or 60 centimeters would have them skimming like a skipping stone...
her hight is 4 foot 9 inchse.
sorry I meant would my 8 be to swim under mickey pool on deck 11 on Disney dream cruise.
Also I seen an YouTube video of child jumping form side of Mickey pool on Disney fantasy.

I think your 8-year-old will be allowed in the Mickey pool. Yes, I see the small child jumping in the pool in the video, but I honestly don't think they want kids jumping into the pool. It can be a danger to the kid and to other kids if the pool is crowded.
The pool is shallow and the lifeguards on duty will not allow diving into it.
