Then again, you had James Cameron, the OG-The Creator of the Terminator franchise, all in on the story and script of Dark Fate and it was a painful film to watch. Fingers crossed that Planet of the Apes doesn’t suffer the same “dark fate” with this writer.
Isn't the point of the article that the next movie *isn't* a reboot?

Well then the question is: Why do we need another Planet of the Apes movie at all? They are kind of pointless by now.
I agree with you, but, people are still paying money to see them. The last one made half a billion at the box office.
