Gossip Phone - Chapeau

Hi All! Huge Disney fan here, but haven't been able to keep up with the usually "Disney Nerd" news as of late (life got in the way). I finally got back to MK yesterday after 2 years (my longest stretch away ever), and noticed the Chapeau was gone. I googled and obviously found the news the Confectionary took over, however I have been unable to find if the Gossip Phone was relocated. Anyone know where it went? Is it gone for good?

It is. I’ve sent a few emails and so far nothing, but it’s on my list of things to bug people about to get fixed.

Its one of those unique Disney things, a simple detail that many people had no idea even existed. When they discovered it, from a tips site or secret items list, and sought it out, it added some fun for a moment as you passed through. Hope Disney reconsiders it and brings it back.

That phone was so much fun!!! It’s the small little things like that which made the MK so special. Like the talking trash can. But they still have the spitting camel working!

Can't someone point out the similarities to the phone booth outside Diagon Alley where you can dial MAGIC. They seem more willing to do things that Universal does, rather than maintain the Disney Difference.

I was thinking maybe if someone could get LoungeFly to make a backpack themed to it that might make them consider it worth paying attention to.
