WDW Railroad getting ready.

You would think that since it takes so long to build these rides there would be so much redundancy built in that they would almost never go down.
This is not a case where a ride goes down. The WDW RR track needed to be moved plus the RR runs through a tunnel through TRON, and obviously TRON needed to be very close to completion before the new RR tracks could be installed.

The issue here is WDW takes SO LONG TO DO ANYTHING!!

And, yes, you can place part of the blame on COVID....

The railroad has been closed for almost 3 and a half years. I sure hope it's open for my last trip in May so I can ride it for the last time.

They are still building the tunnel near Tron. I dunno how fast they can complete that with Disneys track record.

WDWRR is a major ride that occupies a constant large number of people. I look forward to riding it again and it will likely help relieve some of the other wait rimes. Hope it is running come our planned Disney/Universal trip in December.

I miss any attractions and shows when they are out for refurb and get disapointed when a trip is planned and I know what I might be missing. For our past several trips the RR had been down and I think I missed it more than I did any other thing. We enjoy riding the loop around several times on a trip. Missing the sound of the whistle and hearing the rumble of the train wheels as they go over the tracks sure makes a difference to an MK visit.
