Anyone heard of this musician"The Caretaker" aka, Leyland James Kirby. Some of you probably know him for the Everything at the End of Time series.
His music has a distinct ethreal and otherworldly tone that evoke nostalgia and melancholy. The samles he uses in many of his songs being music from the 1920's and 1930's. Having been inspired by the Ballroom scene from the film, "The Shining".
I was able to listen to some of the songs and some of them do sound like they could sound right at home in the Ambient soundtrack of the Exterior and lobby portions of the Queue.
take a listen to one of his albums.
I do wonder, what if Disney changed the Queue music of the Tower of Terror in both the WDW and DLP parks with selections from the Caretaker? would they still achieve the same effect? What would be your opinions about such a change?
