Boats between resorts

just spent a nice 4 days in a cabin at Fort Wilderness. We were disappointed the boats are not yet running between resorts. Having to go to Mk and transfer is a pain especially when it is a two-boat line. We always enjoyed visiting the resorts at night, but did not do it this trip. We had lunch reservations at Contemporary and ended up driving. Any idea when the boats will be back?!

There have been suggestions the boats around Bay Lake will return once Hoop de Doo returns. That is expected to be in 2022, albeit reports range from Jan to Easter.

I didn't realize the boars weren't running and am hoping for a resumption in January (we're at WDW Jan. 5-10 for Marathon Weekend).

I try to attend the running of the boars whenever possible.

Without the boats (or boars) the best way to get from Seven Seas Lagoon area to Wilderness Lodge is a bus from the MK?

There's a bus and a boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge. What is missing is the Contemporary-Wilderness Lodge-Ft Wilderness boat route.

The boats are running between Epcot and the Epcot resorts, as well as POR, POFQ and DS.

We were chased by peacocks one year. By the golf courses.

The boat is running to/from MK, just no boats running between Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness and Contemporary. Have to boat to MK and transfer.
