Yes as expected it's been a cluster this morning. In my Starcruiser FB group I'm hearing 2 hour waiting times only to be transferred to someone else. WOW talk about unprepared. Disney is screwing the pooch on this one.

In my FB group I'm seeing people booted out. They reach a cm, they're told the queue for the specialist is full and to call back later. Like....just leave us all on hold then..????

People are literally wanting to throw money at Disney and they chose to do this the antiquated way? Are they doing it to keep call center employees working? Should have always been an online thing with lots of check and balances along the way...

AT 7 this morning it said there were no more AP slots. 7:03 or so it said 2 hour wait. 7:53 it hung up. Been on hold another 70 or so minutes at this point. I jumped through all these hoops for stupid halloween parties so I'm ok with it for this. However, I won't tolerate them answering the phone after hours on hold and telling me to call back. That's insane. You call me back, clowns!

a company that used to be known for customer service is now this....

The amount of work and commitment I must put in just to BUY something is a huge turn off and right now is distasteful enough it really has squashed any motivation I had to splurge on this thing.

I'm not going to go above and beyond to try something... and then be a total kiss-#$% to do it. No Disney... I'm not your desperate buyer who will do anything to get a spot on your teet.

I feel for cast members answering today. Just got through my 2 hours hold and they picked up to tell me that there is nowhere to send me. I don't even understand what the point is of having middlemen here. They took down my information though and said I should get a call back in 3 hours, where essentially I assume there will be nowhere to send me.

Oddly as I was writing this I got a callback immediately and then had to push a button to wait for the next available cast member.

For those of you unfamiliar with DVC points charts... a solo traveler on a Galactic Starcruiser itinerary is going to pay the equivalent of:

10 nights in a 2 bedroom ocean view villa at Aulani in November.

36 nights an a savannah view studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge in summer.

THE ENTIRE MONTHS OF SEPTEMBER AND JANUARY COMBINED in an Old Key West Studio.

I don't even understand what the point is of having middlemen here. They took down my information though and said I should get a call back in 3 hours, where essentially I assume there will be nowhere to send me.

Ok, so now supposedly there is no transferring for starcruiser bookings at all. They can't even attempt to transfer anybody.

I feel bad for anyone now calling in and waiting on hold for potentially hours for absolutely no chance of being helped.

We (me, DH, DD13) could stay at Poly LV for 3 weeks with the points required, that's insane.

The "must be booked 4 months prior to use year" caught my eye. Does DVC normally have that requirement?
