Unpopular Disney Opinions

Illuminations in the late 1980's was a billion times better than today's version.
Bubbles are not the way to entertain your child in a queue.
I've loved every castle overlay and I wish that this Winter, it gets an Elsa touch with a frozen Anna on a frozen moat.
I love Captain EO.
I hate big backpacks.
I hate padholes and if you are using your pad I will take your photo and add you to my padhole file.
I don't mind if an effect is broken, or a ride is down, I'm just happy to be at WDW every 3 years.

Citrus swirls are better than dole whips.
The parks aren't in as bad a shape as everyone complains about.
I love the Three Caballeros ride and the land boat ride.
I would hate a Frozen overlay for Maelstrom.
The way that a lot of the public behaves in WDW is despicable.
I love the world showcase. Boozers and all.
I like LeCellier.
The prosciutto and melon pizza at Epcot is amazing.
That is all for now.

That's how people on these forums usually think.
For a while you could see Magic Journeys where the Philharmagic now is. For what it is worth, I like the Philharmagic BETTER than Magic Journeys, though Magic Journeys was there first (in its second location)! (All very confusing!!!)

I do, however, like Captain EO. I assumed most people did so didn't think that was an unpopular opinion. Seems now people are split pretty evenly liking or disliking it.

  • I would rather go on Stitch than Country Bear Jamboree
  • FP+ for the most part is much better than legacy Fastpass
  • Soarin' is not the best ride at Epcot.
  • I hate character meet & greets.
  • Chef Mickey's was a very subpar experience.
  • Toy Story Midway Mania is overrated.
  • Carsland should not be brought to Florida.
  • Lights of Winter at Epcot was just a smaller less impressive version of Osborne Lights.
  • Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not that great.
  • I don't like HalloWishes.
  • I really enjoy Ellen's Energy Adventure.

Adults without children should either
a) not be allowed to eat up queue space to meet people in costume when little kids are queuing to meet REAL characters or
b) have a separate queue where the grown men can spend 5 minutes hanging round a dressed up half their age girl's neck (because it's the only place they can get away with it without a harassment complaint)

I happily disagree with you. But I would say that CM's shouldn't spend as much time with adults wanting an ironic photo op as they do with children in for an "experience".

Disney should never have bought the Muppets.

Or Marvel.

Or Star Wars.

It doesn't need that old junk. *cough*Home-grown-Frozen-is-a-billion-dollar-grossing-movie*cough*

There should be a Mary Poppins attraction either in DHS or MK. Preferably MK.

I watched Chicken Little the other day. I liked it. I wouldn't mind a sequel.

BOG is one of my favorite restaurants too. I've only eaten there once, but the food was superb.

I think the food at Cinderella's Royal Table is very good too. (Also ate there only once).

I like Monster's Laugh Floor. I visit it every time I'm at WDW.

That's all for now.

They serve Dole Whips at the Polynesian. Can one get them "spiked" there?

(Also, I think rum tends to be the alcohol of choice for the concept)

Yes indeed. I can't remember the name of the place now but it's in Africa. The spiked version comes with dark rum or coconut rum.

ETA : is it Tamu Tamu? It's something along those lines... lol
