TY It seemed appropos. If a poster has a prob w/ this thread or our neverending interest in the club, then just leave and quit complaining. If the continuance of this thread is as big a prob to you as you make it out, you really should count your blessings since there's nothing greater w/ which to worry.

KUNGALOOSH !!!

:sohappy: Very well put :sohappy:

A quick bit of "real" news, not about the Club sadly but at least about the man who was its soul...

Karl Anthony (the Fletcher Hodges pictured above) is doing stand-up performances this Friday and Saturday at the Bokerz in the Ramada Inn on 192. 8:00 pm start, doors open at 7. $6 cover ($10 for couples).

Ok, if the occasional reminder of reality is too disturbing for you, I'll leave you to your fantasy world thread. :p

But aren't you the same guy who went out and sold some of his treasured Adventurer's Club collectible gear on e-bay? Some would call that jumping off the bandwagon, sir. :ROFLOL:

Maybe its time this thread got moved to the "past attractions" section of the forums where people who are interested in what is NEWS or what is RUMORED won't keep seeing it. :zipit:

Being a Disney fan inherently requires you to live in the past a fair amount of time. The Disney Company as a creative company is dead/dying. The past of Walt Disney World will always be brighter than the future, the key to enjoying the great things Disney has to offer is to enjoy them while they are still around and understand it is not a permanent thing. Most of us were fortunate enough to enjoy the Adventurers Club before it closed, it is important to remember it. An entertainment venue with the Adventurers Club's level of quality and themed environment may likely never be seen again. So be sure to "Celebrate Today" it may not be there tomorrow.

Seriously. It isn't hard to just skip over a thread that doesn't interest you. I have no interest in a Soda Price Increase thread, or one about Mr. Smee. Easy enough to just let it be and move on....
If, say, Universe of Energy were to be closed, there would be plenty of threads right here talking about how dumb it was to close it, and that it should come back.
Same thing.

It's very similar to when Horizons was closed and World of Motion was closed.

The major difference is that when they closed these two attractions, they actually had something in mind to take it's place. Not some vague marketing plan that's never gonna come to fruition because some wet behind the ears bean counters made up their own skewed exit polls.

Indeed, plus the Adventurers Club could peacefully coexist with said vague marketing plan, and it was timeless.
