Nick "StormTrooper" Bautista - McNaughton 500 Mile Race Report

Facebook: Killington is just down the road from where Nick Storm Trooper Bautista is in the mountains and currently running the McNaughton 500 Mile Trail Race.. Only difference, he has no lift to climb up, no skies to make the downhill and no open trails.. By choice, that is.. Nick just hit 90 Miles now..

colder is ok, the flurries not so much but less sweating = more energy

Just saw on Allison's facebook page - as of 8am today, Nick had fi ished 130 miles!

He finished 150. No more rain. I'm obsessed with watching his progress on facebook! His combination of strength, commitment and insanity fascinates me.

Keep checking for updates on FB as well and text from Mrs. Machine (in between watching episodes of Arrested Development).

Last note on FB was about an hour ago from Irene (one of his crew members)---he's taking a break after completing 150 miles. Rains has stopped and weather is improving.

He did get some French toast to chow on--although not tonga toast I'm sure he enjoyed it!
