Photo update as of Thursday, Aug 13. Photos of the castle stage and forecourt area under refurbishment. The original ramps and railings on either side of the stage are largely removed. Appears they will be completely re-done. The actual stage appears to be untouched, other than some repair work.

In the below view, the design for the forecourt area is taking shape....sort of a compass emblem.

I don't see this being done by the 22nd.

The ramp in the first picture is no where near ready for a concrete pour.
The ramps will definitely not be ready but the star and concrete in front of the stage should be completable by then. As is right now all they have to do is some minor grading, install the reinforcement rod or wire and put in the temporary perimeter framing which should only take a few hours to one work day. Having done this myself for many years I can say with 100% certainty that the area can be poured back in 3 nights. If it was all one color they could do it in 1 night with 3 finishers and 4 laborers.

They'll probably only have the right side facing the castle down by the time DAWM reopens. They had that side closed for about a month before they closed the other side, so they'll probably keep the other side closed for a little bit longer. They can get by with only one ramp open so that's probably what they'll do.

The compass emblem was there before they tore it up so would make sense that that's what it is.
