A guide to FastPass+ attractions, along with a sheet to mark off selections and times is being given out to each car arriving at the parking plaza.

Guests are using the kiosks to make FP+. It is not paper based.

Cast are stationed at the kiosks with iPads to provide additional capacity.

Really not a problem so far. Was able to get FP+ for Everest, Dinosaur and Safari.

Historically, the week before Christmas is one of the slower weeks of the year.

It could get interesting if this system is still being used next week.

    Hoping it goes well!

It would be good if WDW can end the perpetual MM+ "testing" and move on to something else!

Can you tell us what times your FP+'s were and if you can alter those times easily?

    12pm for Dinosaur
    2pm for Everest

Yes I can alter them at a kiosk

DAK's marque attractions (Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Festival of the Lion King, and Finding Nemo) are high capacity attractions.

During slow periods like this week, guests should have no problem getting the times they want.

It's a good day for Disney to be testing this new system and DAK is the best park to first try it in. I'm more concerned about next week.

That doesn't look bad at all --- thank you for the update.

Curious, how does this work for families? Can they be copied, like resort guests can do, or do you each individually have to go the kiosk, scan ticket, and make selection?

Thanks for the response. I should have been more specific. I wonder if you could have changed your FP + for Everest to the a.m.

Yes you can do groups in the same way as resort guests do. Each member does not have to visit the kiosk individually.

The crowds in the early morning are the early birds. They are usually the planners anyways. Typically, the parks start to see their crowds start to enter around 10am to 11:30am. That's when you should check back on those lines.

Disney has thrown a lot if cast at this - all still seems to be going smoothly. Safari has about 10 CMs with iPads.

There is an option on the kiosk to "create your travel party" and you can scan several RF enabled tickets so you can all book your fastpasses together.

If you are traveling with a group of six, it will only show you a window in which at least 6 fastpasses are available. For example if Everest had 20 Fastpasses to give out for the 1:30-2:30 range, and 15 of them had already been given out, it won't show you that option because your whole travel party wouldn't be able to ride together.

But you can also specify certain FPs for Certain people, so again if you have a party of 6, and one kid is too short for everest, four of them could book Festival of the Lion King, and two of them could book everest.
