Can you tell us what times your FP+'s were and if you can alter those times easily?
DAK's marque attractions (Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Festival of the Lion King, and Finding Nemo) are high capacity attractions.

During slow periods like this week, guests should have no problem getting the times they want.

It's a good day for Disney to be testing this new system and DAK is the best park to first try it in. I'm more concerned about next week.

The crowds in the early morning are the early birds. They are usually the planners anyways. Typically, the parks start to see their crowds start to enter around 10am to 11:30am. That's when you should check back on those lines.

There is an option on the kiosk to "create your travel party" and you can scan several RF enabled tickets so you can all book your fastpasses together.

If you are traveling with a group of six, it will only show you a window in which at least 6 fastpasses are available. For example if Everest had 20 Fastpasses to give out for the 1:30-2:30 range, and 15 of them had already been given out, it won't show you that option because your whole travel party wouldn't be able to ride together.

But you can also specify certain FPs for Certain people, so again if you have a party of 6, and one kid is too short for everest, four of them could book Festival of the Lion King, and two of them could book everest.
