Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout announced for Disney California Adventure

Heard from a CM friend who rode it last night. Said it was awesome, and the other CM's who rode it all raved about its "awesomeness".

The most interesting thing she said though was that the whole ride experience is different than ToT in that it lasts longer. 3-5 minutes was her guess. Its more involved than just ups and downs...hence all the screens and whatnot.

Ohhhhhh! Intriguing!

Very good to know! It seems as though it's about time to start a new thread for Guardians reviews, photos, videos, etc. This pre-opening thread has served its useful purpose. Don't you think, gang?

I don't like that they put the summer of heroes sign over the park entrance. That would be like having Main Street and the Disneyland Railroad station/floral Mickey covered up with SEASON OF THE FORCE.

Or like parking a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix - The Official Car of Grad Nite, out in front of the park entrance for a month during the '66 Grad Nite season. Even though Grad Nites were an overnight event only, and the park was open during the day and paying customers were coming into the park who had no connection to Grad Nite.

Walt would never allow that! Wait.... Walt was still alive and running the park in June, 1966? He approved that? Oh, never mind.
But that Summer of Heroes sign over the DCA entrance, that's taking things too far. :D

At least the car wasn't sitting on top of the train station ;)

Oh look, it's a Mickey floral that actually looks like Mickey Mouse instead of the retarded cousin that we have today.

The past was a magical time:

Not Walt's time, but no one defaced a Disney landmark like Eisner. (WDW caught it the worst)
Can't seem to find a picture, but wasn't there a motorcycle stunt cage planted right in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle?
