I'm all for a pre meet and greet day of race at the Disneyland Hotel magical hat.
I saw a Facebook profile called Running At Disney (RAD) and it mentioned a pre race meet on Saturday around noon near rhe Esplanade near a restaurant at edge of Downtown Disney. This is another option.

You better be glued to twitter/DP Blog if you want to sign up. I believe they usually fill up within 5 minutes of them posting.

Its only about 30 people who sign up through the Disney parks blog and then the rest are bloggers who feature runDisney events on their pages and get invited. Super exclusive.

Or you need to start a blog about running and get people from this board to follow your posts about all the rundisney events so they will invite you and pay for your hotel room, race fees, etc.

I was watching for the meet-up release, but missed it as I was getting ready for and driving into work. By the time I accessed runDisney on Facebook, the slots had been filled.
Oh well, I'm still excited to be flying to SoCal and to run inside Disneyland. See you all in a few weeks.

Digging it. Last time I saw the temp was low 60s for morning of half marathon. Going to be hard to prepare in the next week in Memphis. It's mid to upper 90s with heat indexes 99-100-plus. Guess some night runs for me this week.

Time to think about a meet time Sunday. They will want us in the corrals by 0500 for the 0530 start. Anyone wearing anything that stands out? I will be wearing Livestrong sunglasses with yellow earpieces and a white running cap. Maybe I'll wear a burnt orange Texas Longhorn DriFit. That will be easy to find.

Maybe we can all meet by 4:15 for a meet and greet, group stretching session at the sorcerer's hat near the Disneyland Hotel? Wish everyone a good race and get to our corrals by 4:45am?
I will be wearing a Team RWB red tech shirt. Will likely be wearing Ray Ban sunglasses, you know the sun will rise about an hour into the course.
For reference, here's a picture of me and some of the WDWMagic runners from the 2012 Tower 10 miler. I'm second from left, between @Fievel (Brad) and Joe Maxwell. Also running with us will be Melissa (@melflip8 ) - she's in the pink shirt and green socks.

Alright Disneyland runners, I have a request - can someone please head to the runDisney booth at the expo and grab a picture of the runDisney medal display?
