Does anyone know what happened at the Animal Kingdom parking lot yesterday just before closing? The parking teams were halted because police had the tram path blocked off with ambulances and a fire truck. I saw 4 ambulances as I was walking to my car, one that said "advanced life support". Looked like it may have involved a tour bus.... Anyone know??

From what I understand, a considerable number of guests were exiting the park headed back to their vehicles.
To me it does....

A bus hit a light pole (really!). A tour group was stranded in the parking lot for a while. This happened around 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Definitely sure it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, I'm never surprised that everytime someone here sees flashing lights there is such a need to know what happened.

Well, welcome to the forum. I just find it odd that the reason you joined was to find out why there were flashing emergency vehicle lights in a parking lot that did not involve you in any way. I hope you take advantage of all the wonderful things this forum has to offer now that your a member.

I think it's all about human nature.. The desire to know about the unknown.. You see the same thing whenever there is an accident. People slow down, "rubber-necking", just to see if they can figure out what happened, and to see how bad the accident was. Sometimes this causes even more accidents.
Looks like to sun is setting to the right in the above picture. My guess is the driver was blinded by the low angle of the sun..
