There is a helicopter circling the lodge grounds on Sunday, February 18 at 9:45 AM. Anybody know what’s going on? They are not circling the lake, it’s more the grounds itself.

I was semi mad that I couldn't get that view, because I specifically went to the hotel for that reason. I was more peeved that the monorail was down for all guests due to that select group.

For the most part the 4th floor patio was open to all guests. Only the very corner, where the monorail enters and exits the hotel, was roped off. This is the portion that offers the best view of the castle

I was at the Contemporary last night and the monorail was having "electrical issues" at the exact same time that the event was occurring on the fourth floor viewing patio. I made a prediction that the monorail would be magically fixed as soon as Wishes was over, and guess what??? It was! I...

That is the week we normally go, and for some reason, it always is the last to be booked with narrators. Sometimes the schedule undergoes several revisions for that week also. Makes it really hard to plan what night you want to see the show...

I walked right past Whoopi Goldberg on Main Street in December. During the same vacation, Eddie George (former running back for the Titans) sat at a table near us at Yachtsmans Steakhouse He seemed like a nice guy, taking time to speak with some fans several times during his meal.

Glad to hear that the parking lot view was awesome. Looking forward to the same myself on 10/24. :)

Long time reader - Rare poster here. Just wanted to let you know I joined the bandwagon and posted on the blog asking them to remove that hat! I am so tired of seeing it as the focal point. It just doesn't fit the theme.

I caught the end of her second concert on 10/21, and was not impressed. Over half the theatre was empty. She was playing piano, and only had one other person with her playing guitar. I'm not all that familiar with her music except the 1000 miles song that I've heard over and over on the radio...

I'm so twisted, I couldn't wait for a response and already googled it. :lol: Seems to me people are just looking for things to talk about. Even if I saw the statue from that angle in person, it wouldn't even dawn on me to think about that. The anti-Disney freaks must have pointed this one out.
